What do you guys know about Springfield, Ma? There use to be two crews there years ago. One was part of the New England Group and the other was part of the Genovese Family. The one from New York was the more powerful Crew that had the Scibelli's and then Al Bruno who later got killed in a parking lot outside some club where he had been playing cards. Is there much left in Springfield in 2018?

I thought Springfield (and the western part of the state) was always Genovese territory, the eastern part being Patriarca territory, with the Connecticut river being the dividing line.

Springfield goes 2 the genovese. Worcester use to be patriarca territory but i think those days are over . I still knoo of 1 major associate out there he was in the can with a friend of mine but i dont think he has ever been made

Yes, You are correct. I could have worded the question better. LOL Anyway, are the two crews still active?

The Genovese family still has a presence in Springfield and there have been ongoing cases there including in 2016. But it seems the crew now answers to the New York-based crew run by Conrad Ianniello and Eugene Onofrio (the latter lives in Connecticut).

As for the Patriarcas in Massachusetts, I don't think they have much of any presence outside Boston and the surrounding suburbs. The Providence faction has been gutted by both attrition and prosecutions. Little, if any, presence in Connecticut it seems.

Made man Billy Angelesco is now living for the last 3 years just south of Portland, ME (about 90 miles north of Boston). Portland and a few other areas of Maine have had made guys from the Patriarca's living around the area.
