So tall think we should lay off "the Sicilian stuff" until a more significant indictment occurs.... Fair enough...

I gotta ask though, why the guys from John's crew in the top spots and NOT a Juliano? Or DiMaria? In your guys opinion ... curious..

He can have whatever name he wants and so can you. But let's just try to keep it civilized in here. There has been some decent discussion in this thread; let's get back to that.

I hear that mostly they tax street dealers or have gangs do the work for them, which would b smarter. Joey merlino taxed street dealers while he was boss and anthony DiDonato taxed dealers on nicky corrozozs behalf.

Again that is a myth. The mob has always directly dealt drugs. Just a few weeks ago 2 Philly made members were busted for dealing drugs.

Though u said the mob was not to involved in the drug trade, do u think drug trade is still a large portion of the mob’s income?

Probably now that the labor rackets have almost all dried up. Although gambling is still far and away their #1 source of income.

Who are you refering to? Cefalu and Cali are not from John Gambinos Crew.

yes that is he who he meant. it is odd Cefalu, Cali and Mannino are top.... it doesn't provide much balance you'd think. but then again, that's bc we built this whole Sicilian faction up to be huge. Cali I don't think was ever directly in Gambino crew tho. And ik Mannino is said to be head of Zips now, does that mean same crew as JG?

if the Ndrangheta is the top drug dealing org and Cali had ties w them... if think that theyd have to be buying in bulk or otherwise it prob wouldn't be worth it for Ndrangheta

what crew was Cefalu in? do we have any charts showing Gambino Zip crew succession?

...or is it just one crew...? this is what gets me confused about the gambino zips.... you have "leaders of the crews" like Gambino and Mannino. then "zip bosses" like cefalu and Cali. then theres some like Paul Siemplace who was said to have his own crew... as well as Francesco Palmeri....

This guys livin in the past. Look at his name and his quote.
So is your Father according to what you said earlier. I'm happy for you that "rap" music has saved your life. May you have a bright future with it.

The American Mob has always been involved directly in the drug trade besides taxing independents. That was one of the main reasons that forced Gotti to kill Castellano. A couple guys in his crew were dealing directly and got caught. It's just done on a smaller scale like everything else in 2018.

Cefalu was with Patsy Conte. Cali was with Jack D'Amico.

Cali has blood ties back in the old country. His wife is an Inzerillo. This is prob why cali is in very good relations with the guys from italy. Also about cefulu im sure his influence on the family wasn’t much since he wanted to step down just two years after bein selected and finally retired after just a 4 year run at the top.

He was mannino got busted back in the 1980’s with John Gambino for drug and murder charges. I believe he clipped Francesco oliveri on gambino’s orders.
