Is Vince Isoldi a gangster, an entrepreneur with a sordid past, or simply a good businessman? It depends on whom you ask in the Steel City, where Isoldi has made friends and enemies as a real estate tycoon and nightclub executive. The original series "Godfather of Pittsburgh" profiles Isoldi as he balances home life with professional dealings. Devoted to wife Carla and sons Enzo, Adolfo and Romeo, Vince often resorts to extreme measures to provide for them, and he also supports his six brothers and sisters. However, nothing upsets Vince more than being betrayed, especially by someone he trusts. No one knows this better than Vince's brother-in-law Sam, who has been ostracized from the family for crossing Vince. For advice, Vince leans on his father-in-law, Junior Williams -- aka Pittsburgh's "Numbers King" -- who has served time for racketeering.

Vince still has some strip clubs that are cash cows. Junior died a few months back. His wife Carla had most of the commercial properties in her name that her father owned which is estimated in the millions. Vince lives in Presto, PA which is one of the most affluent areas of Pittsburgh, lots of new money.

When Junior Williams was sentenced back in 2003, the government has also moved to seize properties he bought with gambling money. They include a house owned by one of his daughters, condos at Seven Springs Resort, a SeaRay boat and a bass-fishing boat, a hunting camp in Tionesta, an apartment in Miami, a hotel, two horse trailers, a Rolex watch, valuable coins and $4 million in cash. The Government got all of it.

Ironically, the Clark Building in downtown Pittsburgh where Junior ran his jewelry store Guglielmo's and his other business, the Sugar Deli, was owned by Antonio Ripepi estate.

Sorta kinda not really if that makes any sense. His connection was through his father in law Adolph Williams (Surname is Guglielmo, Williams is the Americanized name). Vince never kicked up (that I am aware of). Nobody bothered him because he was Junior's son in law and Junior was respected throughout the state. Junior Williams and his brothers Salvatore and Eugene assumed control over the numbers business that was left behind by Tony Grosso, the largest independent numbers operator in the country. Bobby Iannelli took over the other half of Grosso's numbers business, which was $30 million per year. When Tony Grosso was operating and because of his strong political connections, LaRocca let him operate without paying tribute to the Pittsburgh LCN. When Tony went to prison in 1987, Mike Genovese had the Williams brothers and Bobby Iannelli seize control of the operation in which they all paid tribute to the Pittsburgh LCN. Ironically in 1987, the All American Club (underground Casino in Campbell, OH) which provided $20 million per year to the Pittsburgh LCN was raided by the FBI and that cash cow for 25 years just stopped. Indicted int he All American Club casino bust were Lenine Strollo, Dante Strollo, Bernie "The Jew" Altshuler, Ernest Biondillo among a few other low level workers. So the timing to take over Tony Grosso's numbers business was needed due tot he lost income from the all America Club.
