Yes, a true blue LCN boss talked. But there are circumstances that make him unique and unusual.

And there's a reason I would think you're credible without a name? If you're waiting for me to say "Chuckie" then what's the big deal?

What was the connection of Pittsburgh Mafia group with The Chicago Outfit? He mentioned his "good friend" Mooney. Why would the Pittsbugh Mafia be aganst Counterfeiting?
I believe that Jo Jo Pecora was getting a couple of hundred a week from some Chinese guy in Chicago for whatever?
Yes...that was in the 1980's. Sam Giancana was killed in 1975 but was not at the head of the Outfit when he was killed, he was living in Mexico for years.

Giancana and the Mannarino brothers were close. John LaRocca and Tony Accardo we’re friends through Angelo Bruno.
LaRocca was also close to Anthony Pinelli, former member of the Outfit's North Side faction who later became capo of the Northwest Indiana crew
Yes indeed. He was a slot machine baron.

From Pittsburgh or Chicago? Could you post the article?

For the record, many mafioso spoke politely with FBI guys. They may have even acknowledged a few things...but full blown informants are on a whole other level.

Real last name was Ruggiero...nothing definitive on why they changed the name but rumblings that their father was wanted in Italy for some small crimes. They were Calabrian.

I agree stroking the feds with a few minor tidbits that the feds probably already knew is nothing , telling some war stories of the glory days of a aging Wiseguy , harmless ,
hell the feds had hundreds of illegal wiretaps and probably had a major grasp on what was going by what th mid sixties ? But couldn’t use those in court .
Many of the old timers would tell the feds about the bootlegger days , some good interviews on marry ferral it seems all claim to no longer hang out the hoodlums

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.
