Sam Mannarino and the FBI
This article was written based off of casual conversations that Sam Mannarino had with the FBI after he was shelved in his later years. There are definitely a few interesting tidbits in this article.

What was the connection of Pittsburgh Mafia group with The Chicago Outfit? He mentioned his "good friend" Mooney. Why would the Pittsbugh Mafia be aganst Counterfeiting?JCB1977 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 12:23 pm This article was written based off of casual conversations that Sam Mannarino had with the FBI after he was shelved in his later years. Re: Sam Mannarino and the FBI
Good stuff. Never realized he was shelved. Article says due to health/law enforcement scrutiny. Is this the case?

Giancana and the Mannarino brothers were close. John LaRocca and Tony Accardo we’re friends through Angelo Bruno.Confederate wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 10:33 pmWhat was the connection of Pittsburgh Mafia group with The Chicago Outfit? Yes. He was bringing too much heat. LaRocca and Kelly Mannarino allowed him to earn while he was shelved through John Fontana.

Re: Sam Mannarino and the FBI
I'm posting another article shortly about a second member source with deep ties to the Pittsburgh-area. He went further than Mannarino. His identity might surprise a few people.

LaRocca was also close to Anthony Pinelli, former member of the Outfit's North Side faction who later became capo of the Northwest Indiana crewJCB1977 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 24, 2018 4:01 amGiancana and the Mannarino brothers were close. Re: Sam Mannarino and the FBI
All kidding aside, I came across an FBI document from 1963 where Ferruccio was designated a "PCI". Mind you, he didn't say much at that time.Stroccos wrote: ↑Sun Mar 25, 2018 10:44 amHe agreed to inform once , as They say, You can build a thousand bridges, but if you suck one cock, they don't call you a bridge builder but a cocksucker.
The second member source I'm referring to was a "boss".
