Red is a friend, I don’t like that he wrote it..and I do feel, like anyone, he ver inflated the situation..that being said, even in the book he didn’t hurt anyone..except whitey.....weeks, oh what a shit bag, says he only hurt Jim bulger and Steve flemmi..and Connolly lol..forgets he got the poor girl from the phone company pinched and fired for giving out the numbers that were tapped..total piece of shit
Re: Patriarca Family Succession

Re: Patriarca Family Succession
It was never specified which guys were Todaro members, not that it matters. And if you're already familiar with "the usual stuff" - like the Buffalo family not being active anymore - then why are you saying "we don't know the real deal about Buffalo" when we do?johnny_scootch wrote: ↑Wed Mar 21, 2018 4:34 pmWho were the Todaro family members arrested? How many of them are there? Where are they based out of?
Can you tell us anything besides the usual stuff you like to lean on about no cases in 20 years? And not appearing on lists? Points no one is arguing against.
Wiseguy please tell me about whats left of this organization.
All we know is that the feds had the family at 23 members in 2006. Several have died since then.
We also know that there hasn't been a significant mob case there since LIUNA Local 210 was taken over in 1996. That can't be ignored.
We also know the feds no longer consider an active, formally structured family to exist there.
You shouldn't need or be asking for any more than that.
Back to New England....

Back to New England....
The Buffalo News piece from last year (http://buffalonews.com/2017/03/19/fbi-s ... perations/) cites basically every form of law enforcement saying that the Buffalo mafia is as dead as the dodo so idk how anyone is supposed to argue with that. Those GBB clowns can't cite a single person saying the fam is still active.
But yeah, back to New England. This has been a great discussion on NE.

Ya T I get what your saying. I just always remember Spanky coming by tbe RBA with this huge, I mean Huge MFer. I never was introduced, you might know who I am speaking of? A little off topic but I thought Id ask. Ya Revere is one of the last really loyal places left for street guys. I was around Charlie over at Cal's in Winthrop. He's another name that isn't brought up enough outside the casino shit. He took care of the Mattarese's when Biggie got out. He is a gentleman, at least around me, I really enjoyed the Lightbodys, The Italian Amer. that Dave was in charge of. I was mostly around Everett, Revere, Medford, Somerville, guys... I loved it... Take care,TJ wrote: ↑Wed Mar 21, 2018 7:09 pm Luca, thinking back to a post from other day..regarding sparky and gregory..don’t get me wrong they had some balls..u have to remember who they grew up around..Carmine and Anthony..Steven and mark.. Re: Patriarca Family Succession
known charlie for as long as i have memory..gentlemen, sharp guy. wynn fucked him good..all the brothers good kids, tommy nuts..johnny a gentleman, david is like a different generation, young enough to be charlies kid , didnt grow up like the other brothers..dont get me wrong, hes a good kid, speak is opened back up now...but the city, just aint the same..spanky had a lot of different kids around him...i like him, again, dont get me wrong..but joe t etal kind of blew his rep up more than it was, if you know what i mean..the balliro nephew from medford, more balls than most, u know who i mean right?...
Re: Patriarca Family Succession
The Lightbody's are good people , John did 10 yrs w/o peep, Charlie did get screwed by Wynn but he still made bank, David runs the IT American and the Speak now. I do know the one from Medford you're asking about, the one w/nine lives, he's good friends w/David , I've seen him at the Speak more than once, not a bad guy imo.
Re: Patriarca Family Succession
I think Johnny even did a little more than 10, 13 comes to mind but I could be wrong..Charlie always was on the right side of deals, very sharp, even buying that property well before the casino approval was great, he thought maybe a box store would come and he would double up..instead casino wins and he had a chance for 10times, til Wynn decided he could steal it...David is aces..they all are, even crazy tommy haha...yes , 9 lives good way to put it, lol..not a bad guy at all..don’t get on his bad side tho...speak, a time warp..big Jim, Hayes, who’s the older woman during the week days. Haha, love ut
Re: Patriarca Family Succession
also, charlies new purchase of the autobody shop is a great piece of property as well..i will say though, the characters he inherited in there,, well, if you are on parole, it aint a good place to stop in too, haha

Re: Patriarca Family Succession
What do you guys know about Springfield, Ma? There use to be two crews there years ago. One was part of the New England Group and the other was part of the Genovese Family. The one from New York was the more powerful Crew that had the Scibelli's and then Al Bruno who later got killed in a parking lot outside some club where he had been playing cards. Is there much left in Springfield in 2018?

Re: Patriarca Family Succession
I thought Springfield (and the western part of the state) was always Genovese territory, the eastern part being Patriarca territory, with the Connecticut river being the dividing line.Confederate wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 3:24 pmWhat do you guys know about Springfield, Ma? Yes, You are correct. I could have worded the question better. LOL Anyway, are the two crews still active?Wiseguy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 8:48 pmI thought Springfield (and the western part of the state) was always Genovese territory, the eastern part being Patriarca territory, with the Connecticut river being the dividing line.Confederate wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 3:24 pmWhat do you guys know about Springfield, Ma? Re: Patriarca Family Succession
The Genovese family still has a presence in Springfield and there have been ongoing cases there including in 2016. But it seems the crew now answers to the New York-based crew run by Conrad Ianniello and Eugene Onofrio (the latter lives in Connecticut).Confederate wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 9:14 pmYes, You are correct. As for the Patriarcas in Massachusetts, I don't think they have much of any presence outside Boston and the surrounding suburbs. The Providence faction has been gutted by both attrition and prosecutions. Little, if any, presence in Connecticut it seems.
