Reading the book Colombo. Just came across his name in a chapter I read a day ago. In July of 1968 the NYPD picked these guys up for "loitering". They were having dinner at a Chinese restaurant House of Chan's in Manhattan. At the dinner were Carlo Gambino, Joe Colombo, Angelo Bruno, John Scimone, Vincent Aloi, and Thomas Massotta.

Did a google search. A gambino guy. Owned Alpine Carting Company. Owner of Micheal's restaurant at 301 Woodcleft, which was a Colombo/Gambino favorite..........................................https://www.nytimes.com/1993/07/16/nyre ... -fire.html

Apparently ordered a building at 369 Woodcleft to be burned because the FBI was using it as a surveillance post to watch the activity at Michael's Restaurant.

Seemed to be in Jimmy Brown's crew.

It would make sense masotto was at the funeral he and Carlo Gambino were cousins , there moms were sisters

Yes same people. Tom and Paul are however two different individuals, probably brothers. According to bronx, Paul was later murdered. I don't have any details on the murder.

I think it was Thomas other brother? who got killed , I have no idea if Paul was whacked as well I had some info on thomas as he had some connections to Pittsburgh
