What do we know about “Lucchese crime family capo Angelo “Cheesecake” Urgitano”? Personally I’ve never heard of the guy.

Any info appreciated.
Cheers

dont have much info on him but his son is more well known, in Blutrich's book he tells Urgitano that he has ties to judges and bondsman that can get Joey (son) out of prison early and accepts a payoff. I believe he was doing a long stint for manslaughter or assault(?)

If he is even still alive he would have to be about 90yrs old. Ran a Bronx crew I believe waaay back . I could be wrong but I think the Colombo associate who did time for murder and then latter a drunk assault with friends with the same last name maybe a relative but was not his son. Again I could be wrong. I just thought that his son would be much older then this Colombo associate with the same last name people are talking about.

Just to be clear i wasnt speaking of the Colombo associate with the same last name, just that in Blutrich's story he takes a payoff from Urgintano who's son (name not mentioned) was doing time on a murder rap, his parole approaching. Unfortunately no more info is given on either father or son, other than Angelo being a longtime Lucchese captain.

Ok. Didn't know. The Colombo Associate of Teddy Jr's is names Joe Urgintano and is from the Bronx area. He shot a drug dealer in the head when he was 20yrs old did about 14yrs. He also was had his pic on the wall at Rao's with Teddy Jr. It was in all the papers over some court case yrs ago. I wonder if they are related to the Lucchese Capo?

Blutrich plead guilty to downloading child pornography in the 1990s and didn’t have to plead to more heinous charges because he was a cooperator.
Numerous allegations were made against him that he had sexual relations with underage males and he was labeled a pedophile by numerous outlets including Gang Land/Capeci, Penthouse Magazine, and even the NY Post, which printed this story and somehow forgot about it.
Fun fact:
Blutrich was also John Alite’s cellmate in witness protection and wrote the first draft of his book while they were cellmates, which George Anastasia later rewrote.

I don’t know him personally. Never spoke to him. But I listened to a few of his interviews where he complains he got too much time after he cooperated, that he did 13 years when he was promised no time or less than a year or something. I forget.
But what I remember is that he never brought up that he plead guilty to downloading child porn. Left that out of his book too. And no mention of all the accusations from people who alleged they were victims of his sexually.

So what's the story now about Blutrich and his safety? He's like Sammy the Bull Gravano where the both of them can walk around NYC without a care in the world? Would any of the young upstarts try taking them out to score points with the old timers?

I think the same thing when cooperators send guys to prison for long time,
then they are out in the open not feeling threatened. Most everyone says
that no one wants to get charged for murder these days. The damage was
done, and just move on...
