Massino was still in the can, wasn't he?
The Colombo's were shooting at each other again, so I can see them not being there..but at the time of his death, were the Genovese again recognizing the Bonannos as Commission members? I remember reading Salerno, years before, called them the Babanias, and junk dealers(lol), but despite that, Gangi's being there was probably out of respect for Rastelli, a Boss, who basically spent his run in prison..

Correct. He got out in November 1992.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

George Sciascia is on that list and he was the captain of Montreal, so they were at least represented, assuming unidentified Canadian members didn't come down as well.
Thanks for sharing this. Looks like JD got his blog going which is great news for everyone.

The URL is all over the photos.
Also, let me suggest that even though his URL is clear, we should give credit to the blog if we're just going to re-post entire entries on the board.

I was going to suggest the same thing B but you beat me to it. He spends a lot of time and money on this not to do so. Thanks!B. wrote:The URL is all over the photos.

Great to see JD back at it. Does anybody know the significance of the Charm Florist picture at the top?
Re: Photos from Philip Rastelli wake
I believe it was the florist store owned by Gambino informant Alfredo Santantonio. He was whacked there in 1963. Flowers By Charm was located at 197 Avenue T in Brooklyn, N.Y
