With the FBI playing these factional politics games, and pretending they lost five months of emails, I hope he beats the case and then takes a shit on the prosecutor's table.

He would love the top spot but there are people in Philly alot more respected than him. Ligambi from what i've heard wants to stay semi-retired so if the Feds get there way and put Joey away we will just have to wait and see but the case looks full of holes to me unless they flip somebody else.
I've read where Ligambi has been acting boss since Merlino was indicted. Do we know that for sure, no, but it's out there. The thing is prior to the Merlino indictments nobody was sure of who was what under Merlino. Some had Mazzone as street boss. Some had a panel. Ligambi and Chickie as Consigliere. Mazzone as Underboss. Chickie as Underboss etc.

If they had a big case on the horizon they wouldn't waste their time charging Joey in New York and jerking Lucibello's chain on a parole charge.

Disagree.

NY Fed office doesn't give two fucks about the Philly Feds(review their disagreements in this particular case) and if they have enough to charge him on jay walking, they'll do so regardless what the Philly office is doing.

I could see Georgie making a money grab if Merlino gets allot of time.

I just wondered who everyone else thinks will get the top spot assuming that in this day and time you cant run a family from prison and assuming that some wouldnt turn down the top spot because of the heat that goes with it. My pick would be Phillip Narducci,he has the street cred and knowledge and should be well respected. Whats everybody else think?
There were many documented cases of FBI corruption long before Obama was in office...and prior to him being born. Corruption is everywhere

People probably read Leonetti's book one too many times. Didnt he say everyone better get out of Phil's way or bodies will drop?

Didnt happen.
Leonetti was and is as credible as a wet fart

No doubt he was a tough guy, and the story was a good read. But like a lot of books from rats...self serving

Approximately how many active made guys are left in the Philly Mob? How many square blocks is the ITALIAN SECTION of South Philly with 8 blocks equaling 1 mile. What is the name of the Catholic Church in the Italian section of South Philly?

Twenty something. Maybe thirty something depending on how many of the Scarfo era guy's jumped back in.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.
