Maybe that was the case in regards to her full brothers like Andrew as I believe chin was against making him. I don't think she found out about her 3 half siblings till she was an adult. As sonny said it could have had something to do with the fact it was his son with his mistress which made it different somehow in Chins mind since he didn't have his namejimmy_beans8 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2018 7:13 pm anyone surprise Rita would throw that out there [curveballs for future purposes]

Thanks I had thought it was 90's too but couldn't recall for sure. Had you heard anything about him possibly being a capo?Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2018 7:16 pm It has been public knowledge for many years that Esposito was made. Pretty sure it was while Gigante was still alive. If my memoriy is correct he was made during the mid 90s.

The Feds aren't falling for a front boss again. Gigante was the family, so he never officially retires if released. He probably keeps the top spot but let's Bellomo and the captains run the family as they did since his death.jimmy_beans8 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2018 11:09 pm food for thought.....if Chin survives the prison sentence?.....he cant go back to ACT!!!!!!

To whoever said Esposito can't have rank because he was meeting with associates -- his father, supposedly the most "secretive" boss, met directly with associates as well, including turncoat Peter Savino. Many other associates have had access to high-ranking members in that family, just a few examples: Angelo Ponte, Tommy Cafaro (even after his father flipped), Carmine Franco and Cookie D'Urso. It could be argued that some associates have had more access to the family administration than many made members, depending on their role.
Apologize as I don’t think i did a good job explaining myself as never meant to imply bosses don’t have associates but rather I don’t see a westside admin guy today getting caught on tape with an associate talking criminal matters that would lead to an indictment . My guess would be after the Chin Saviano disaster they tightened up security. I could be wrong but I would think the admin has added communication buffers between themselves and the street. Just a guess tho but i think this is a reason it’s going to be hard to get Barney

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.
Re: Genovese Bust Today 1/10
Anyone have a recent picture of Esposito? Everything I've seen is 20 years old

No worries, man. Personally I don't think it's possible for a boss to completely avoid associates.TommyNoto wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 2:59 pmB. wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2018 3:14 pmFor sure. So Chin has 2 sons involved one made, one unmade?
Re: Genovese Bust Today 1/10
Apparently Vincent Esposito was given bail guidelines by the magistrate in the case. The government has filed an appeal to this bail which, while not long, is an interesting read. It goes into the usual spiel about the "Five Families", etc. but talks about the traditional method of the Families only being allowed to make members to replace dead guys being relaxed and they are now allowed to make a certain number of new guys every year.
It still does not give Vincents rank in the Genovese Family, only that he was a high ranking member. In fact, they found millions in cash in the townhouse that apparently was part of a Genovese "slush fund" that he was in charge of. He periodically doled this out to members. Maybe for loansharking, not sure. Pictures of this money and weapons taken are attached.
It is a good read overall so I'm posting it in the docs section for all.

"The FBI also found two lists of made members of the Genovese Family hidden in Esposito’s residence. One of those lists consists of certain made members of the Family based in New Jersey who died within the last 20 years, while another list contains certain living members of the Family, all in one crew, and also based in New Jersey."
- I would love to see those lists. Let´s keep an eye open for them if they ever get published on the net.
There you have it, never printed before.
