This map is amazing, I think i spotted my grandmother in front of her old house. BK was a great place back then, love seeing all the mom & pop stores on kings highway & flatbush

sal genovese owned the building where paul had his club next door to tomasso's restaurant,they later moved between bay 7th and bay 8th that is when jimmy brown had the club, probably around 1987. gotti would play cards there once a month until he was pinched

sal was associate of john gambino , a calbrese ..tile biz.. do not recall where his office was, never there before

I'd like to use this information in the 1985 map and would like to credit whoever compiled all of this. Years ago on RD I seen Yates working on this, I wonder if he's responsible? Terrific work and I greatly respect the effort.

Thanks Chris, been working on that map a long time. I would def like to cross reference my map with this new one. idk why but I have always loved maps. I appreciate it man

Just curious: How many, if any, of these "Big City" Social Clubs actually had NFL owners as regulars that placed large bets on their own teams. They would also meet their BM on Tuesday nights a to either pay or collect their bet.

I would bet more then A handful , if I remember corrcnely the steelers (Rooney) and browns( McBride ) owners both had strong ties to gambling . And may of founded there teams with gambling money or at least got there start in gambling .
