It's an old argument I used to have with somebody on the RD forum who would bring up Chin or Castellano as evidence of the mob's "no drugs" rule. Nevermind guys like John Gambino or Patsy Conte moved drugs under Castellano or Chin made Barney his acting boss. You can find exceptions under even the most supposed hardline bosses on drugs. The real rule was more like "don't deal without permission."

Im sure Sally's Capo was well aware of what he was doing. They don't give a shit about drugs anymore . That's all bullshit. Tony Ducks on tape saying he is going to kill drug dealers. He goes to jail then a heroin dealer becomes boss of the family and still is to this day . The drug ban is all horse shit. Its only when guys who are not into drugs come onto leadership positions that they worry about the drugs yet they still take the money from their capos knowing full well its drug money.

This point here is why I've always found it odd that Narcotics trafficking is looked at as as a low level crime. Like " Drug dealing", standing on a corner dealing small amounts is a low level crime. Narcotics trafficking, however is OC's biggest business, I'm talking big amounts here. It's the most liquid business you could be in off the streets and still make huge money. The most readily accessible too.

You know the strange thing I find fascinating, is that word is that NYC's medical marijuana program is failing, because of not enough BUYERS, (they are prohibited from smoking it, hence no flower..or wax, I guess...) but you guys are saying people are buying vapes left and right. And wax too, I guess. But this is because In Cali and CO the supply outstrips demand.

What confuses me is the 800 a pound number. That's in Cali or CO right? Cause 25 an 8th is still over 3 grand a pound.
How could you be in NYC and expect to pay 800 a pound? It's like expecting to pay the same taxes for cigarettes from a tobacco state. How does this work? Or is it like what, 1500-2000 a pound? Is it down to like under 400 a pound in Cali?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.....

Yeah that's correct , guys are bringing in high grade outdoors in the $1,500 range and indoors is closer to $2k in bulk ( 100+ lbs ) . In doors is where you can differentiate yourself and makes some good $ and good moves at the same time.

It's funny as I don't think I could find crappy weed anymore , lol , the script had been flipped when I. The 90s it was the reverse
