Re: Cleveland circa '85
1) I'm hesitant on Lonardo, unless we have any source stating he transferred it's best we put "Made in Buffalo." Are you cool with that?
2) Who was the cocaine operation w Lonardo composed of?
3) Gallo-Papalardo and sinito-iaccobaci if correct, please help me understand. Do we have lineage of guys under Gallo that later fell under Papalardo? Or is it simply "Gallo and Sinito went away and then it was papalardo and Iaccobaci." Remember, I'm in the dark feeling my way around with a flashlight, any input really helps me better understand.
4) Do we know which crews (Collingwood, Sterling Hotel, Sanzo and Card shop) individually reported to Iaccobaci and to Papalardo so we can show that?
5) The FBI chart listed Carabbia under Calandra. Was Calandra in charge of eastern OH (whatever was left) like Licavoli in the 60's but at a much more diminished level?
6) I'm clocking 8 crews, 10 if you put Battista and Arnone in separate factions. Is that correct? Or are they extentions/successors of the Calandra-Gallo-Liberatore-Sinito crews? Explain if you can.
I reckon one or both of us will be losing power very soon. Stay safe. Salut.

Do it, Vegas is awesome. I lived there for the past three years before returning to the Midwest, and I will spend the winter there this year if I can get away with it. It's a great town. Plus it has a Mob Museum haha. I actually met Scott Dietche there.

This is an odd clip, relevant to the decline of the Cleveland Family in the early 80s.

Spelling Correction for Joe Spags
Spagnolo -- on page 1 it was spelled incorrectly Spaganlo
BTW The Spagnuolo Spagnolo family (around Cleveland), even among brothers, spelled their names differently. Some Family members pronounced it like Spang-a-low
Tony Lafatch was pretty much inactive because he was just moving properties and swapping properties and exchanging mortgages.
Jimmy Lafatch was still doing some but it was I would say part time at best

Tony Lafatch was offering several of his properties to me in order to pay his debt to me. I let my Wife talk me out of doing the deal which in hindsight was a big mistake in my opinion.

1 i dont see much of a chance of him actually reporting to buffalo , i am going to guess he was made a favor from peanuts tronolone to lonardo. he had been arrested many times always with cleveland guys ,, it doesnt matter to me though.Chris Christie wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2017 7:11 am 1) I'm hesitant on Lonardo, unless we have any source stating he transferred it's best we put "Made in Buffalo." 2 he was part of the gallo/sinito zagaria drug ring. remeber these crimes were from years earlier calling him the point man may be to drastic but he did take part in the operation , i just feel his brothers(big ange claim from the witness stand that he knew nothing about drugs is bogus
3gallo and sinito were already in jail or going to be. so they had to make some guys to keep it going. most of there crews got indicted , i believe it was sinito to papalardo and gallo to iacobacci in a general sense . but basically in yes they were the only two left

All signs point to them being made , so we list them as made , I often question to weather they were even made guys along with battista and demaio ,FriendofFamily wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2017 6:15 am Spelling Correction for Joe Spags

Now tony lafatch was obv the more successful brother he seems to just pulled out of the street rackets by he 60's and went into Sam lucarelli type role .

4) I have a pretty good idea , maybe just put the crew in a 2 across blocks under neath each other . Just to show how people grouped togetherChris Christie wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2017 7:11 am 1) I'm hesitant on Lonardo, unless we have any source stating he transferred it's best we put "Made in Buffalo." 5) that's probably a good way to Desrbie it , basically handling things for licavoli ,Iook how he attacked those reporters pestering them . If cisternino and carabbia didn't get arrested and convicted of the Greene Both would of been properly made and promoted to captains
6 I have more people to add , I will try to explain it to my knowledge .just haven't had a chance yet hopefully you survived the hurricane mostly in tack.

I think they reproduced those charts or maps in either Playboy or the New York magazine. I'll see if I can dig them up.

Stroccos, can I ask you to go through examples of where "capo" was used by CL. Was that a term used by members or given by the FBI? Just curious.
The dog was ok surprisingly. Power is still out.

4) I could do that but the more I break it up the better. I'd rather keep the crews combined rather than list names alphabetically.
I'm not on my computer until the power is back on, so it's harder to get around. But if these 8 crews I clocked. Maybe they can be merged if say hotel sterling members were Gallo members before prison. They aren't it's just an example. If you can help consolidate the crews or explain where they descended from I can better understand.
Almost wanna do a lineage chart for CL but additionally including the capos. Can go from 1920 to 1994?

Powers back but not the Internet. I got the time. Especially this week. If you're busy that's understandable. Hopefully you didn't sustain any damage.
Pogo read that the Sinito crew came from Lonardo. If calandra came from licavoli, did anyone succeed moceri when he became consig?
Sorry for all the questions.
