How many approximate associates for '1985? 10, 20, 50?

Since everyone is incarcerated we'll have to show that I reckon. I believe I can get the incarceration dates.

Just off the top of my head, I am guessing I can probably come up with at least 40-50 associates

I checked and it was Charlie Casara (described as an old retired member). It was the making ceremony of Tommy Sinito and Joe Gallo in the summer of 1979 that he was present at. This ceremony took place in the back room of the Italian-American Brotherhood Club on Mayfield Road in the Murray Hill District.

Does anyone know the full name of Soldier Sam DeLa??? He is listed as an inactive member during the 80s but the chart cuts out the rest of his name. Thanks.

No I believe he is referring to mob nemesis it contains many errors . One huge error is he claims Paul lish was the one slapped by Dave Perrier , when everyone and there mother knows it was Darby.

Yeah it was from that book. I don't know about other erros but in this case it is probably correct since I don't recall Frattiano mentioning Casara being at the 1977 ceremony.

Pogo, did you ever make a chronological list of when CL members were made like you did with NY? Just curious.

Now I'm really confused, which is nothing new for me. Why no RC on the list?

That List is if I had something documenting what year they were made , it is by no means a exclusive or full list .

Concur (if RC is in reference to Carabia). We've gone over him being an associate with CL circa 1965 but I assumed he was made later. Yet on the 1985 chart (on page 1) he wasn't listed as made either. Interestingly Dominic Mallamo is as an inactive member, unless he later switched from PT to Cl like Caravallo is rumored to have done, that isn't accurate.

He (Greene) was backed by the Nardi's (or maybe he backed them) in an attempt to wrest control from Licavoli, correct?

Licavoli is interesting given his bloodline relations to Detroit and St Louis and for the fact that he didn't want to remain boss for very long, he envisioned "rebuilding" the family and then retiring. Things certainly don't always go as planned.
