I read something that says they are possibly in westchester county jail although they don't show up on the inmate search. Still find it odd. I can't recall any time when oc figures being held on federal murder and racketeering charges were held in a non federal jailStroccos wrote: ↑Tue Aug 08, 2017 8:33 amI Looked up some of the other people indicted as well tindaro corso doesnt show up either , my guess is there housed in a local facility or somehing to that affect that houses federal inmates and never went into BOP custody yet.willychichi wrote: ↑Tue Aug 08, 2017 6:32 am Maybe they flipped or maybe the Feds want us to think they flipped?

I think letting the imprisoned boss keep the title does help the guys on the street a little bit.Stroccos wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2017 6:56 amI agree , I just figured it would save the gov money and they can claim the boss is in jail , because dont they have a mandate to go full throttle agaisnt any offical LCN boss. But its quite possible they do anyway agiasnt the actingWiseguy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 07, 2017 1:15 pmI'm not sure it's a case of helping one or the other. It's often said that if the feds have the official boss in prison, that's takes some of the heat off everyone else. But I think the feds will go after whoever is running things on the street, regardless if they're the official boss or just acting boss. For instance, if Cali were to become the official boss of the Gambino family, I'm not sure that would make him a bigger target for the feds than he already is now.Stroccos wrote: ↑Mon Aug 07, 2017 12:51 pmdoes having Amuso still as the official boss help the wise guys and the Feds . Usually Crea has always been cre tied for acting/street as well as many want to just say the top.Exactly. In fact, read both Crea indictments from 2000 and 2017. In the first one, it said he had been the official underboss and acting boss at different times. But the more recent one has him as the official underboss and Madonna as acting boss. End of story.
-It may do nothing for the FBI, but when it comes to jurors or sentencing, it looks a lot better to be acting in place of someone rather than being the guy calls the shots
-In the eyes of the public and senior LE officials, having a family boss in jail makes the family look weaker and in less of a priority (it's all a PR battle).
-Can help avoid power struggles if some structure is left behind after a bosses imprisonment
The way you talk, you just confuse him.
Re: Crea indictment update
Amuso has been gone a long time and the Feds went hard after every single guy that has been acting in his place since. I doubt Madonna being acting or street boss instead of official boss will help him at sentencing if he gets convicted on a murder racketeering beefTeddy Persico wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2017 8:39 pmI think letting the imprisoned boss keep the title does help the guys on the street a little bit.Stroccos wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2017 6:56 amI agree , I just figured it would save the gov money and they can claim the boss is in jail , because dont they have a mandate to go full throttle agaisnt any offical LCN boss. Re: Crea indictment update
In jersey we have federal inmates in Essex county Jail in newark awaiting trial or that can't make bail, mon mouth county too I believe. Angelo Lutz talked about how when they caught the case back in the late 90's with merlino how they sent them to Hudson county and Passaic county jail ( which I've had the unfortunate pleasure of wasting some time in and I csn first hand say it is a nightmare on many levels. After they lost the federal contract they were sued by many inmates for the living conditions and CO abuse.) passaic county jail is rough man. I mean jail is jail, but it's dirty, the cops fuck you up for fun, and it's 40 man dorms on the whole grand street side. The jungle is like 20 man dorms, and there's only a few tiers with cells but their filthy and it's tough living. No ac at all where the sells are which is the Main Street side. It gets brutal in the summer. The grand street side has ac and it either don't work or its ice cold to the point u wear a thermal in the middle of summer. So you can basically follow that they are probably trying to make these guys as uncofortable as possible while sitting, rotting, awaiting trial. Although I was in the Essex county fed tier when I was a state inmate and had an open court case I had to go there for and they do a decent job with the food, and the living conditions. We only were in the cell for count. It was still terrible but they treated the inmates decent and fed them well.Pete wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2017 8:23 pmI read something that says they are possibly in westchester county jail although they don't show up on the inmate search. Now that we know who both rats are, what do the legal experts here think of the strength of the case? Are they fucked, do they have a fighting chance, or is there not enough info yet to make any sort of call?
Cheers.
Cheers.

Pete - you don't know your history. Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were indicted for stealing the atom bomb and giving it's description to the Russians. They both faced the death penalty and were housed in SIng SIng where they were both executed. Note Sing Sing is a state prison and they were convicted and tried in federal court.
