Was Ron Carabbia running the youngstown rackets for jack white by 1965?
By the late 60's, the Carabbia brothers were the dominant prescence for Cleveland. They had parts of Mahoning County and Trumbull County
I'm was well aware of their presence in Struthers and Lowelliville, but where in Trumbull County?
Parts of Warren through Joe Perfette, Cortland and Niles all contributed to the Cleveland kick which was originally set up through Licavoli and Tony DelSanter

It makes sense in the best interests of peace, but I never knew of their involvement especially in Niles. I learn something everyday - thanx.
Mugsy Mavasi and Bree Naples gave a portion of their gambling to Tony DelSanter through Jack White. Charlie took a cut as well.

Job who was made in those names? And are you saying mollica was with PG?
Nope. I'm saying Mollica was very friendly and tight with Mallamo/Romeo

I guess, after some thought and a few pm's, I'm convinced I should include the associates. It makes sense, I wasn't discounting them. Eventually I want to do the same with Pittsburgh granted JCB's is cool with it and gives the go ahead.
Question is, where do we draw the line as to what associates we put up? Guys like Blumetti and the Zingale's no question. With both the PG and CL Families, for such large territories spanning 3 states they had a rather small memberships and a high pool of people under them that we'd call associates. Which goes back to the age old question of what constitutes an associate: an aspiring Italian looking to get his button, a Jewish bookmaker, a corrupt cop, a politician receiving percentages from jukeboxes, judges visiting captains in Florida. But for this chart's sake I'd cut it off at crew members, and given we're all going by FBI reports, that's a good place to start.
I am not sure where or when I need to jump in on this.
I think I will start by adding the FBI transcript about Jimmy LaFatch and Whitey Besase in Toledo and the Detroit guys. I have personal knowledge from My Wife and I that as this develops a little I could add or edit some things. I want to see this develop a little more because there is a lot of territory to cover in the Physical Geographic area sense and depth of knowledge that needs to be written down because we all aren't going to be around and the few survivors just want left alone and not harassed by LE.
It's going to be hard to develop when you have perhaps 2-3 experts out of 5-6 posters overall who even care about Cleveland and Pittsburgh. If you're not from there, you instantly swarm to the Families of NY, Chicago and Philadelphia.

Sad but true
Really good to see that FoF has chimed in. Who better to share his knowledge of the Akron faction
