Dumb Question. Does anyone know if the Decavalcante's/Elizabeth family had their "books" closed in 1957-58 like the NY families?

Don't think so. Sam DeCavalcante made a bunch of new members when he took over in the early 60s.

Charlie as in Charlie Murgie - Consigliere? Trumbull County and when Michael had concern that Lenny was going off the deep end, he oversaw Lenny.
What about Jo Jo Pecora - Under Boss?

When Michael took over in 1985, Joe Sica was his consigliere. Sica died in 1991, Charlie was promoted to the position.

Re: Pittsburgh & Decavalcante 1963 Chart help
That's interesting. 1963 was my first year at Camp and Charlie and Michael shared a bed room then. However I had no idea what or who a Consigliere was. So your research shows in 1963 that Joe Sica was Michael's guy. Ok by me.

Only because our new "It" brought this post back to life and It's using one of your photos of Joe that maybe this was a simple miscue: Where's Jo Jo Pecora?JCB1977 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2015 8:36 amChris Christie wrote:Can anyone help me with these?

I did not know Fiore was a made member.
Re: Pittsburgh & Decavalcante 1963 Chart help
In 1963, LaRocca was Boss. Mike was a Capo. Kelly was Underboss and Frank Amato Sr was consigliere until he died in 1973.FriendofHenry wrote: ↑Mon Dec 28, 2020 8:41 pm That's interesting. 1963 was my first year at Camp and Charlie and Michael shared a bed room then. Re: Pittsburgh & Decavalcante 1963 Chart help
I subsequently learned what position they held as I got older. The only thing I knew for sure then was that JoJo was some kind of "gangster" per/say and that my Dad and I were going to his hunting camp. I was personally invited by "Uncle Joe" and he bought me my first deer hunting licence and let me use one of his rifles. "Uncle Charlie" was there and he took me under his wing. We went into the woods together and he literally taught me how to hunt deer. I shot my first deer when I was hunting with him and he taught me how to gut it. He even helped me drag it out of the woods. When I was introduced to Michael, Nickey Dimaggio pulled me aside and told me that Michael went with John? to Appalachian, whatever that was. Needless to say, I learned who all the cast of characters were and what ranking they held. BTW: Wasn't Jo Jo part of John's inner circle along with Michael and Kelly? Stay safe!
