It's funny you said this because I was just talking to a friend last night about the perna's. Now we grew up around them and other families that traditionally the kids followed their dads or uncles into the life. Like if you read the operation heat transcripts it paints the picture for you quite accurately. Joey, Johnny, and Ralph even (who is legit but still is involved with the gambling) grew up around gambling and the street . In the one convo with Ralph rj and joe they're arguing over money that joe supposedly owes Ralph from when joe was away and Ralph held it down. And joe goes,"ask daddy is you got anything coming to you." Like this is normal shit. I could never allow my son to do the things I did. If he got involved in the street it would break me apart. I pray everyday he makes the right choices in life. But Mr. Perna like straight up raised his kids in this shit . And I know mr perna and I actually like him a lot. He's not a violent man, he's a money maker. Even he was raised in the life. The taccetta's and perna 's both. But I think to myself how could he have let his kids get into this shit? Especially Johnny who was so smart and got the scholarship to seton hall. Like he should have guided him and encouraged something else. But Johnny was going out robbing drug dealers in Newark and then gong back to seton hall campus. Running a huge package. It's crazy . I don't know this is a personal thing for me.

Johnny is much younger then me . He was a baby when I knew Little Joe and Big as Kids. Did Johnny even finish college? I don't get it either. I would never get my kid involved. Most normal parents want better for their kids right? I wonder if Mike Taccetta and Marty Taccetta if they never went away ... if they would have dragged more then just Carlo into the life. Marty's kids are all doing well and legit. The one kid is married with a kid and works on Wall Street. And I think Marty's other son is a gay wedding planner in the city or something. They other son was killed 25 yrs ago in a car accident.

Honestly I don't think Johnny ever graduated. Mike T son mike is the wall st one I think and his other son is a Paterson firefighter. He's the one in the picture I sent to cheech dressed in military gear. His name is Martin but he's mikes son. Not sure about Marty's kids.
