Re: Mafia Meeting
There's rich guys in every family and brokesters in every family. Don't the colombos have those two guys in florida that are car dealers that are practicaly billionaires? The Genovese have the Pontes who own all of Tribeca....it's pointless to speculate as it's not like these guys all have profit sharing arrangement with members of their family other than kicking up to the boss.

You're right, there are rich members and brokesters in every family. As I've often said, both ends of that spectrum seem to be the minority with most members more or less middle class.
In the past, the Genovese and Gambino families have been referred to as the two "millionaire crime families." Not that the others don't have guys who are millionaires but those two families have a greater amount, both proportionally and in total numbers.
And when the Genovese family is referred to as the wealthiest family, it doesn't mean they don't have guys who are middle class or brokesters. Just that, on average, members of that family are richer than those in other families. And the organization as a whole is richer. And even if the Gambino members Marco mentioned were the wealthiest of all, and we have no way of knowing that, it wouldn't change that fact.
All roads lead to New York.
