1990 shooting of joey cusumano.

Anyone know more about the 1990 shooting of joey cusumano in Vegas. He was ambushed and shot in 1990 not long after getting out of prison for RICO from the Spilotro indicments of the mid 80s. Who ordered the shooting? Who shot him etc? Was it an Outfit ordered hit? Cusumano in yrs after the shooting was seen as a regular at the Crazy Horse Too hanging with Joey the Clown's brother Rocco , Bonanno Vinny Faraci and Outfit front man and club owner Rick Rizzolo. Joey the Clown was Spilotro's Capo when he was in Vegas and later when he was murdered. Cusumano was under The Ant. So who ordered the hit and why? I cant find any info on the powers behind the attemped hit.

Also there was always questions in RD forum as to how the Bonanno's and the Outfit got together on that joint Racket that was the Crazy Horse Too in Vegas. Then later Bonanno Capo Louie Ha Ha's soldier running a Strip Club right in Chicago in prime Outfit territory.

Crazy Horse Too early History. The Club was first opened in Vegas in the early 1970s by a Bonanno Soldier names Tony Albanese. Anyone what Capo he was under in NY ? Albanese opened it in 1972 it was called Billy Joe's Crazy Horse Too. Tony Albanese was murdered in 1980 or 1981 and Albanese's decapitated head was found in the desert. Henry Rapuano took over soon after and renamed it Crazy Horse Too. Rapuano died of a heart attack in 1982. In comes Rick Rizzolo who was a close associate of Henry's son Al Rapuano. By 1984 Rick Rizzolo's father bought the club out and Rizzolo's become 100% owners. Later Rizzolo hires Rocco Lombardo and is seen at various dinners with Rocco and Joey the Clown in Chicago. Also in comes Vinny Faraci a Bonanno Soldier who fled NY in the mid 80s for Vegas after putting his hands on a Made Member of the Genovese family in Brooklyn. His father Bonanno Soldier Johnny Green Faraci and his Capo worked out a way for Vinny to escape death by being banished from NY. (though that his since blown over since Vinny is back in NY running a club in Brooklyn).

Not really sure why he was targeted. It was always assumed to be mob-related in the news articles but I wouldn't rule out some type of personal beef local to Vegas. I know he was squawking about his inclusion in the Black Book so maybe this was the Outfit's way of shutting him up.

Thanks for the response. Yeah maybe. That is a good theory. Then Joey the CLown sends his brother Rocco down to the Crazy where both him and Cusumano hang out all the time together. Like you said the other theory was that it could have been some time of nonmob related dispute. But if that was the case I would imagine Cusumano would seek revenge.
Cusumano was not a made guy like Spilatro. Perhaps he did something or spoke to the feds too much. ? He only did 3yrs on RICO.
