PHILLY MAFIA FIGURE PLANTS FLAG IN RESTAURANT SCENE

Post by willychichi »

Reputed high-ranking Philadelphia mobster Phil Narducci is opening up a restaurant this year named after his dad, a once-powerful Goodfella in the City of Brotherly Love killed gangland-style back in 1982. According to an article posted this week on Philly.com, “Chick’s” will be putting out its shingle in 2017 in a sprawling, state-of-the-art designed space located at 1807 Washington Avenue in the heart of South Philly. Narducci himself touted the article, featuring a photo of the sharp-looking new eatery, on his social media accounts Thursday.

High ranking? Is there evidence of PN as a high ranking member of the Philly Mob? Is he listed as a capo? I wasn't even aware he was an active soldier within the Philly Mob.

If I'm not mistaken he was bumped up to capo in the last year as a peaceful gesture from the merlino camp. I will try to find where I read it

He leads a "faction" of the family. I think that is what that means. Also and most importantly "Rankng Member" sells papers. Believe half of what you read.

If he was smart he'd continue living like a Philly mini-mob celebrity, do his club/restaurant gig and die a free man.

Probably still active. He has been busted for violating his parole (twice if I'm not mistaken) for meeting with the boys.

Question for Scott, according to your sources, are Joe Pungitore and Phil Narducci both captains heading two separate crews?

"Windows" Narducci did a year and a half on the violation and was released in the fall.

I don't know his exact title, but Joe Punge is heading a faction of the Family made up of mostly old Scarfo era guys - so whether he's an official capo or not he's filling that capacity in one way or another. From what I hear, Punge is pretty diversified - he's got his hands in a lot of legit business stuff too. Phil Narducci has mostly independent guys as his powerbase.
