Does anyone remmember Mob Candy Magazine? Way long ago I use to be in decent contact with a few of the guys. It only had about 5 issues i think.

And also, for the ny guys, is the Joe Gallo museum still there in little Italy? Or the mafia museum on st marks?

Sure I remember that magazine. Kind of gangster/gangsta glitz. And DiMatteo wrote two books too, about growing up with the Gallos on President Street, the war with the rest of the family, etc.

I'm friends with Chris chiramonte one of the writers / contributors to the magazine. He says Renee g from mob wives wanted the name and pretty much shut them down with her money.

Didnt realize DiMatteo was the one who wrote those books was same guy that did that magazine. Interesting how she shut the magazine down tho, mob csndy came out way before mob wives did.

I guess she wanted to use the name mob candy for another project or clothing line she made up

The guy from Mob Candy(or maybe someone just promoting them) I believe did a video on the Triangle Social club today, and shows the original flooring, ceilings and an old painting and members only sign that they kept. Pretty neat.

Ok i use to be near the church at houston and mcdougal. Is that the church Gigante use to piss on? Sounds funny.... But in a way.... I think i use to sit in his piss lol.

Wow, yes i definitely passed by that place numerous times without realizing it.

Just like the ravenite now is a shoe/ clothing store with like... Nothing in it except one or two racks of clothes.
