In Southern CT where I live from Stamford to New Haven the Genovese have the carting / strip clubs and construction and the obvious book. The Gambinos are booking shylocking amd shaking down. The difference is the Binos get busted every five years shaking everyone. The guy in Bridgeport oens allcthe titty bars and garbage and is unscathed.

Yeah Gus had that big dispute over the recycling plant in Milford too. There was a bizarre legal dispute between him and this woman Chapdelaine (?) over who owned it and the property. She said she's on the papers and she'll take Gus and his people "whoever they are", to the Supreme Court to prove she's the real owner. The court essentially said she was just a front for Gus to get the permit and he's the real owner AND, because he is the real owner, the permit is revoked because he has a history of environmental non-compliance. So he's selling the land.
