Just as a correction, the papers put these guys under Yale, but I don't know if they really were, at least not all of them. Giustra and Liconti were in the early Gambino Family. Abbatemarco and Piraino could have been Masseria men, or Profaci. Their relatives were Profaci/Colombo people.

Dominick Didato (AKA Terry Burns) of the Genovese Family was cousin of Dominick "Dick Terry" Didato of the Luchese Family. Since Terry Burns was from Baucina he probably came from the same crew headed by the Salvatore Mauro who was killed in 1920.

Interesting. So that's one more of a handful of guys we know went that direction when the Corleonesi broke up. I'm still not sure which way Clemente or Cecala or Cina went. I tend to believe the Reina Family was composed of former Loiacano loyalists as well as mafia neutralists who went with the side in good standing politically (sanctioned by D'Aquila and not under a death sentence.) So a guy like Clemente, around since 1895, a long time Scarpa-style dry snitch paid $125 weekly (in 2016 inflation= $1700) by the SS and his crimes were overlooked. I can't imagine him wanting to "go to the mattresses" for the boss from 10 years ago.

Like I stated on the phone: I'll be attempting a 1920's Schiro-Mineo-D'Aquila-Masseria-Reina 1920's chart as well. So if you want to think about the 20's potential captains and soldiers it would be appreciated. And yes, the 1920's and before becomes a very grey area, much of the capos will be largely guesswork. I'm not even sure it would be possible for the 1900's and 1910's but in regards to the 20's no one is better suited than us to make the attempt. It won't be exact that that's part this series, they are meant to be imperfect which is only made more obvious with the misspellings: Luchese, caporigme, Representado, Consiglieri, Consulyer etc. Like the current 2016 chart it'll take some time so no rush.

Would be cool to do a chart on Navy Street/Coney Island. Just the lack of photos makes it difficult.

Can any of you guys explain with a little detail this "Corleonesi break-up" I've seen mentioned on this forum a couple of times. And would it be accurate to assume that after this breakup, the majority of the guys whom were under this band of Corleonesi, followed whomever was from their hometown and the neighboring areas back in Sicily? And that was part reason of how the families came to be formed?

In 1921-1923 the Corleonesi Family of NY broke into the Genovese and Lucchese Families. I'll be making a timeline on it. Eventually.

Looking forward to it. And yeah, I had basic knowledge of it, I knew some families were formed out of the result of it. But I didn't know which or how many. I love your charts and timelines, and that one is one that I'll be on the look out for.

Thank you. What did everyone (haha, you and Antiliar) think of the layout? Did it for the format? Was it clear, concise? The most important thing was to clear things up and hopefully serve as a useful tool. The 1920's chart would follow Clemente, Gentile an Morello on the left and the five families on the right. There's also things to be noted, such as Mineo going to Sicily at the same time Morello et al did but we can't prove it was for those reasons. Gentile claims he met Morello in Sicily when he wasn't there at the time. Alot of it needs some clearing up.
