Killed for sleeping with wives/girlfriends

Similar to the mobster suicides thread can we compile a list of mobsters who were killed for sleeping with the wife/girlfriend of another mobster. Here are some off the top of my head.


Anthony Colombo - Profaci Soldier killed in the 30s. Don't know whose wife he boned but he was found dead in his car with his prick cut off and stuffed in his mouth. He was Joe Colmbos father.


Michael "Dutchie" Avicoli - Philly Associate killed in 1996 for sleeping with, I believe, Steve Mazzones wife.


John "Johnny Gongs" Casasanto - Philly Associate killed in 2003 for, among many other reasons, being seen in public with Joey Merlinos wife.


There was also an associate in Chicago, whose name escapes me, who was killed in the 70s for sleeping with the girlfriend of the deceased Phil Aldersio.


I'm sure there are others.

Good idea. What happens with the wives? They are equally responsible right? Unless it's rape, now we know that women and children are off limits. Of course we also know how mobsters see their wives and goomahs.

That was Sam Cesario. He may have been a made guy but I can't confirm that.

Was Antonio Colombo confirmed as made? I've always seen that, but wondered if it's been confirmed. Curious about him not just because of his son, but also because he was a non-Sicilian and the Profacis, like the Bonannos, had very few of them during that time.

I don't think he got killed for that though....to my recollection they made him get a divorce and marry the one he was banging in order to get off the hook.

Antonino Pipitone had his daughter Rosalia murdered in 1983 because she was cheating on her husband (forced to marry him by her father) with a second cousin. After she was shot dead, the cousin committed suicide. She had a child of age 4 at that time. Two men shot her and it was designed to look a robbery they shot her in the legs and then from close range in the chest when she was trying to phone for help. The story was told by Francesco Marino Mannoia in 1990 and later confirmed by Giovanni Drago, Francesco Onorato and Giovanni Brusca: it was a message to the women of Cosa Nostra even if they are not members they must still follow the rules about honor.

Giuseppe Lucchese murdered his sister Giuseppina - he wore a blond wig and shot her in the street and then was kicking her dead body. Her lover was a singer called Pino Marchese and he was found dead with his dick chopped and put in his mouth. He also killed his sister-in-law Luisa Gritta. Both killed for affairs in 1984 if i remember.

8 POLICEMEN FACE TRIAL IN BROOKLYN

Up on Charges for Failing to Notice Parked Car With 2 Murder Victims Inside

Six sergeants and twelve patrolmen of the Fort Hamilton police station will face police departmental trial Feb. 23 at Brooklyn Police Headquarters for failing to report the parked automobile in which Mrs. Christine Oliveri and Nino Columbo were found murdered alongside of 9,260 Shore Road, Brooklyn, at 11 o'clock in the morning of Feb. 6. The car, bearing a 1937 license plate stood in Oliver St.
The couple had been dead nine days when their bodies were found. How long they had been in the car and how long the car had been in Oliver Street will be the main issues at the policemen’s trial.
A few hours before the bodies were found a patrolman affixed a parking summons tag to an automobile parked a few feet from the car containing the bodies.
It was learned yesterday that mild delivery men, janitors and residents of the neighborhood will that the murder car was not in Oliver Street for more than a short time before the bodies were found.
