Both of us told our mutual friend who wrote a book about the Jungle Inn about Charlie's involvement. Too funny John Farah's two sons were customers of mine. I believe they both did some time. His oldest son wasn't a bad guy, but no one could say that for the youngest son.

I also thought Lorenzetti was with Cleveland at least in the 70's , interesting .JCB1977 wrote:If I'm not mistaken, the Lorenzetti and Nannicola family were inter-related somehow...I would have thought that Jack knew Charlie through the family connection...FriendofHenry wrote:To the best of my knowledge, prior to Joe taking a fall in 1990, he was the one who had direct contact with Charlie.
It would be reasonable that Jackie Lorenzetti was Charlie's contact after 1990 for whatever was left in Niles.

I also believe that Jackie took Joe's "spot" after he got popped. Before Joe took his fall, he was more comfortable for Charlie than Jackie would have been because of their family relationship. Keep in mind that I always thought Charlie was the sharpest knife in the boxStroccos wrote:I also thought Lorenzetti was with Cleveland at least in the 70's , interesting .JCB1977 wrote:If I'm not mistaken, the Lorenzetti and Nannicola family were inter-related somehow...I would have thought that Jack knew Charlie through the family connection...FriendofHenry wrote:To the best of my knowledge, prior to Joe taking a fall in 1990, he was the one who had direct contact with Charlie.

Sorry, but I wouldn't consider a bookmaker and fence anyone that would have enjoyed Charlie's confidence

Neither would I but Sansanese generated $250k per month...in the 1950's. I know Tony D and he were very closeFriendofHenry wrote:Sorry, but I wouldn't consider a bookmaker and fence anyone that would have enjoyed Charlie's confidence

If you say so. As you already know, I only comment on people I actually knew.

I am not positive but that isn' too far fetched...Joe disappeared to Reno, NV by 1966 after word of a gambling bust was coming down and he became a Pit Boss at Ceasars in Reno, NV with the help of fellow Youngstown native and gambling boss, Mike Velardo. Mike Velardo became the GM of Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas.Stroccos wrote:any relation to the buffalo guy daniel SansaneseJCB1977 wrote:Yes.
