I had heard of him but that's about it. My wife would have met a lot of Restaurant and NightClub and Bar people in that Area. While she was dating Tony DelSanter she worked for Joe Shannon the owner of ABC Computerized Liquor Dispensers and later Rockne's franchises. My Wife talked to Tony and said none of the Owners wanted to meet with her. So all of a sudden she had this big demonstration with ALL these Bar, Restaurant people in this demonstration Van and they were all wearing Black and had their Hats on etc. She told me they didn't look too happy being there but they HAD to be there. She is better telling the story than me but it is a very entertaining story to say the least.

If you flip the document from Page 50 to Page 51 of the mary ferrell archives there is a name Tommy Bruno from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio which my Wife and Brother-in-law went to school with him and knew fairly well over the years.
I would think it had to be DelSanter. I can't see Leo having this guy report to him. It wouldn't make sense at all to me.
I would assume DelSanter or Licavoli. Go to the FBI Files thread, I am posted the Ralph Infante Indictment

I read the indictment that you posted and thank you for posting it. Most of that stuff I read it is so easy to violate the law because each item becomes a count. Enterprise , Pattern of Corruption, etc. just more piling on type charges. Political enemies you could find a lot of violations in Public Official files and reporting issues. I see it Chicago all the time. A lot of effort for very little if you ask me.
I think the tolerance nowadays is who is doing it. Italians make headlines - somebody else and it's poor so and so they are picking on them and they come up with Legal Defense Funding etc. etc.
I know quite a few people that know the Judge Patricia Cosgrove. - No comment at this time.

I see what your saying he probably pissed off somebody , every long term politian has bent the law. Yeah but if its true selling city property and keeping the money or letting his lackey keep it should be prosocuted. THere is more currpotion in these small cties then people think ,you could probably find violations at them all.

I would think it had to be DelSanter. I can't see Leo having this guy report to him. It wouldn't make sense at all to me.
When did Leo Offically get summit county? He was living in warren when he got of prison 59-60. What about TOny Sasso anyone know what his rank was.
Really I would consider it in 1976 after Jack White was picked as Boss. He wasn't Underboss very long only a few months in 1976 as he was killed in August 1976 and Scalish died in April 1976 so maybe 3 months in charge of Akron as Underboss. John Nardi wanted Leo killed along with others. Once Leo was killed Angelo Lonardo was made Underboss.
Although he was doing business on the Gambling before that. Exact time I'm not sure a few years maybe longer like 10-12 years max.

The reason I asked if La monge reported to Leo is because La monge was doing his bidding and even testified agaisnt Leo in the mid sixties. Leo wasnt well liked probably why someone blew up his house.

OK just speculation here: Since Cleveland turned over Niles/Warren to Pittsburgh after Tony DelSanter died or soon thereafter. And you Youngstown/Pittsburgh experts during 1980s until NOW know what happened during that time period. My question / comment would be do you think any money made its way back to anyone in the Pittsburgh Organization from the Mayors office during his time as Mayor. Maybe just to one guy or do you think more if you believe any of this got back there at all.

Well if he was A bookie in 92 he may of had some connection the logical guess would be murgie ,strollo , ferrucio , you have to dig through public records see what compaines he gave contracts to etc connect the dots that way

No way, nobody left in Pittsburgh to shake down a local mayor for some of his action. Youngstown is wide open and so is Pittsburgh. There are some remnants left but they don't have the juice they once had with cops, politicians and crooked judges
If it was in the early-mid 1990's, Murgie's guys would have been getting something. Joe Perfette...maybe nothing monetary but more political or police protection.
