Good stuff tmarotta.
Perhaps a moderator could copy and start a NE Family chart in the Charts thread?

Ruggiero was rumored to have paid his way into LCN or as many on the street have said that he paid his way to being a constant companion of Baby Shacks. He has been listed as non-active but was in Italy with Shacks prior to the strip club bust. He was also a well respected commercial real estate developer.tmarotta wrote:From what Scott has reported the hierarchy looks like this.
Boss: Peter Limone
Acting Boss: Carmen Dinunzio
Underboss: Matthew Gugliemetti
Consigliere: Joe Achille
Boston Capos:
Dinunzio Crew: Greg Costa
North End: Frederick Simone
East Boston: Robert Carroza
Providence Capos:
Eddie Plato
Joseph Ruggiero: Took over William Delsanto crew
Not sure if this is all right but this is what has been reported. Also supposedly Angelesco is under Costa.

Re: New England leadership
That chart doesn't look right. In 2011 LE had only 1 or 2 active members left in Providence with no structure remaining there. Now the UnderBoss, Consiglieri and 2 Capos are based there?

In fact, there are only eight "made" members of La Cosa Nostra residing in Rhode Island, according to law enforcement sources.
The "made" guys on the street are Joseph Ruggiero, who's never been arrested, Raymond "Junior" Patriarca, the son of the late boss Raymond L.S. Patriarca, Rudolf "Rudy" Sciarra, in his 80s and in poor health, Pasquale Galea, Vito DeLuca , William "Blackjack" Delsanto, Joseph Achille and Robert "Bobby" Deluca.
Among the remaining mafia crew, only one or two are thought to be actively engaged in making money the old Mafia way; stealing it.
"It's pretty decimated," said Col. Steven O'Donnell, superintendent of Rhode Island State Police. "The really intriguing part of it now is the boss and underboss, we allege, are both out of Boston."

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

There was a guy on gangsterbb who used to claim there was like 30 made guys in Providence forget his name, people used to take him seriously for some reason.
Re: New England leadership
I just based this chart on many of Scott's articles. I will concede that it seems strange there are so many providence members when there are around a dozen made guys left there.
Also tommy I think joerusso is the guy you are talking about. He claimed at one point there were 100 made guys just in Providence

Yeah, the most recent info I've seen has the Providence faction being pretty decimated and the leadership now being in Boston.Pogo The Clown wrote:That chart doesn't look right. According to the RI State Police OC division, Providence has been decimated since Baby Shacks was indicted and DeLuca cooperated . Eddie Lato can't stay out of prison. Matty Gug is no spring chicken and I don't know what to believe in regards to Anthony Parrillo.Wiseguy wrote:Yeah, the most recent info I've seen has the Providence faction being pretty decimated and the leadership now being in Boston.Pogo The Clown wrote:That chart doesn't look right. Re: New England leadership
I guess we could do that, if Solai agrees. However, we would need somebody to monitor the chart, somebody who is well versed with the NE Family/dedicated enough to keep up with the changes. And I don´t trust Scott enough to believe his charts are accurate. After all, he is not the same caliber as Jerry Capeci and other experts. If somebody wants to do it, we could put "NE chart according to Scott Burnstein" in the original post.SonnyBlackstein wrote:Good stuff tmarotta.

There you have it, never printed before.
Re: New England leadership
I think it's a good idea, but I'd say if two or three guys (like a small panel) on here are will to work together and dedicated to keeping it up to date and above all accurate, I on board. Maybe Cheech, tmarotta, and Sonny or something like that, and if all two or three of you agree that so and so is made from good source to back it up then we add him to the list. That's what I would like to see....... SoliaiHairyKnuckles wrote:I guess we could do that, if Solai agrees. Re: New England leadership
The board should have a NE family chart.
Hairyknuckles, B., Antiliar, JD are the sites premier researchers.
Would they (some) care to construct one?

Re: New England leadership
I believe that Ferrara and DiGiacomo are not involved (more or less) by choice. DiGiacomo runs a successful restaraunt in Waltham, MA 'Biagio's' with his sons. Ferrara supposedly has a social club in the North End but his only involvement is to take the occasional meeting out of respect (this is only based on what I've read, I have no sources).Eddie mush wrote:If those reports are correct just can't see them having even 1 spot in the adminstation forget Bout 2 .

Last I heard, Dee Dee was on the shelf. Probably had something to do with the current boss having to leave town years ago after being unable to pay Dee Dee back on a loan.
