Apparently not. Personally I think there may be some truth to it , supposedly he was really respected before he was imprisoned during like the 80's for the double murder he had committed, in which he was sentenced to 20 yrs , but only served 11. so here we have proof that he "made his bones", at least . Law Enforcement referred to him as a close associate to Luigi "Baby Shacks" Manocchio , who was identified as the boss during 2011, a period where Parillo was involved in an assault of a couple at a nightclub where it seems like he worked as the head bouncer or director of security, in which he had to serve 5 years in prison for. In regards to Parillo alone , Scott has like two more articles about him both of those articles state that he was already consigliere , acting for Peter Limone , and that supposedly FBI wiretaps overheard a conversation in which Parillo's promotion toSpucky Spagnolo, who was set to go to prison. This info was never repeated in any other articles except Scott's. But he has the reputation of a very violent guy, but it remains to be seen if any of this stuff is true , whether he was acting consigliere , wherher he was to be promoted to acting boss , and whether he's been tapped as the permanent consigliere. At the very least , I do believe he's been made , but thats just my personal assumption , which I have no proof to back.

Any word on Matty Gugs? Is he back on the street being active? I know he had home confinement upon his release until his sentence was over.

According to Scott, Matty Guglielmetti has been promoted to acting underboss. No clue if he's back on the street being active.


Actually , according to the new article linked , the guy who's been promoted to consigliere, I guess in acting capacity, is, Joe "The Bishop" Achille, 80 yrs. He goes back to the days of Raymond Patriarca Sr. Knows the unions, and things like that. In 2005 he was involved in a case where he ordered one of his two sons, David & Joe Jr. to shoot a pair of labor union rivals in the kneecaps, lol. Parillo was sent back to prison last year in relation to the assault I mentioned in the previous post. Joe Sr and his two sons supposedly have long time ties to the labor racketeering. All this according to Scott , of course .


And Carmine DiNunzio is still acting boss.

I just sent an email to a longtime journalist from Providence, RI. He retired a few years ago but had extensive contacts in the RI State Police and FBI. I'll see if he responds, we used to talk all the time but he got sentenced to 6 months of home confinement for not cooperating with LE about one of his sources.

I wonder if Billy Angelesco has been bumped up at all considering some of Boston's key guys are locked up. Is Angelesco more of an enforcer or does he have his own rackets as well? Wasn't he a favorite of Peter Limone?

He WAS out pending appeal, apparently it was revoked and he was sentenced, and this is as of April, 12, 2016.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Convicted murderer Anthony Parrillo was sentenced Monday to 15 years, 5 to serve, at the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston, for assaulting a couple in 2011.

A judge found Parrillo guilty of the felony assault in a bench trial back in November 2015.

Parrillo, 65, was charged in connection with an incident on Atwells Avenue in Providence’s Federal Hill. A man and woman told authorities they were attacked by bouncers outside of the now-closed “Club Two Nine Five.”

The judge had dismissed a second count of felony assault earlier in the case.

Parillo was remanded to the ACI immediately after sentencing. He’s known to be an associate of the Patriarca crime family, and pleaded guilty in 1986 to the 1982 murder of two men involving a drug deal; he was released to home confinement in 1994.

In 1997, Parrillo was profiled in a Target 12 Investigation revealing he was working as a Teamster on the Michael Corrente film “Outside Providence.” Undercover video showed Parrillo acting as a bodyguard and driver to film star Alec Baldwin.

At the time, law enforcement sources identified Parrillo as a close associate to then-mob boss Luigi “Baby Shacks” Manocchio.
