Anyone know this man?
This is from a family photo album. I cropped my father and his cousin from the photo. It was taken early 70's in Bricktown NJ. The man in the photo went by the name of Al Morris. I learned when I was much older that he had given my dad 30 grand cash to buy a 32ft yacht. As long as my father promised to take Al on it whenever he wanted. I knew him when I was between 7-10 years old. I remember his wife Rose. A busy red head with a heck uva updo hairdo and diamond encrusted horn rimmed glasses. She worked at the Dime savings bank in Brick. I'm positive they're long gone now. And since my father isn't around anymore, I can't open that door. Wish I would've sooner. Figured I'd throw it out here.
We lived in a ranch on a lagoon in am area called Cherry Quay. Even if someone knows the area, it would be fun to hear back. There were several Italian families in the area who lived there all year round as we did.
Anyway.... Here's Al!

I know the area well and have cousins that have been going down to that area since the early 70s. Shore Acres and Cherry Quay rd etc. The guy doesn't look familiar to me. I spent summers at my Aunts Place with my cousins in the late 70s early 80s in Shore Acres area. Had a cousin on Cherry Quay rd as well . A little 2 bed room on Kettle Creek. Remember Jacks Bate and Tackle on Hooper with the dummy in the lawn chair and fishing pole in its hand? I think it was called Jacks. Brick has changed allot since way back then.

Hi Rocco. Yes I remember Jacks. With that dummy sitting in the lawn chair fishing! Why do I remember there being a sign at Jacks saying "I buys is and I sells it"? There was also a general store with chickens running around out front. We lived off kettle Creek right off drum point road. Al was 2 houses over and next door to Al was a cousin of the Pernas. Nick Perna, his wife and 2 kids, Mike and a daughter.

Alan's Florist, Britts lol. The Brick Plaza. I loved that neighborhood. I drive thru every now and again. Huge changes.
One more thing about the guy in the photo. There's no way he wasn't somebody hiding out, on the lam or something similar. I figured the average post here gets a couple hundred views and that's a lot more eyeballs than just mine. Thanks

Re: Anyone know this man?
I bet Al Morris was a front name.lol He looks a little like Alan Grecco with glasses. Did you know Vinny or Carmine Panullo ? There were allot of LCN guy (made and Associates) that had places in Brick Twp back in the day. The 70s and 80s. Bobby Manna(off old laurlton circle), Ray Cagno(off Princeton ave), Willie Layton, Bobby Linfante(Genovese crew member(lives behind lafanta off drum pt) ; George Weingartner(Genovese), Also a couple Genovese associates living right on Cherry Quay Rd to this day. Those guys were high-ups in the Longshore Union in Port Newark. One just got out of the can last yr. I could go on and on. But Brick twp has been home to many LCN associates.

Re: Anyone know this man?
His name was Al Morris like my name is Bill Clinton lol. Definitely a front name.
I was such a little kid back then I wouldn't have known too much outside my world. Interesting that my dad picked Brick to move to from Newark. Wonder who told him about Brick?

I'm from paterson originally ... Moved to Clifton when I was 12. I went to Clifton high. Nothing to do with the thread but you said you knew Clifton people. Rocco when u sent me that private message it went to my email and my crazy mother of my kids goes through my shit and was running her mouth. She's not a fan of the life, she spent alotta time by herself while I was gone. Email me bobbypazzo@yahoo.com. Gotta tell u a few things.
Most of you wouldn't be comfortable in my playground.
