Mark Batcho was a customer and as dumb as a bag of rocks ;)
I have a very long and involved history with Jimmy Philomena.
My Dad helped put him in office the first term and I was guilty for his second term :(
Among other things of interest, his first job as an attorney was with his cousin, Carmen Policy.

Eddie throws parties like only a billionaire can afford to sponsor. Best of everything and he's a great host to boot. Good time for all ;)
Are you going??

I would be there if I was in Ohio to support our family friend. It's a great honor. FOH, you going?

How do you refuse an invitation printed on a dehydrated pig skin cut in the shape of a football :)

I have quite a bit of family in the Hillsville/New Castle area.
I was just there a month ago and it's pretty shocking how bad New Castle has become. I'm sure you've read this JCB but just in case..

No, meaning that I would be in Canton, OH for the enshrinement to support our Youngstown friend. My two cousins are in Canton all weekend, they'll be at the pre-party.

Yes, I am aware of this article and I have extensive information on the Seely Houk murder. New Castle has definitely declined over the years but there are still a few places I love to stop by:

Mangino's Pizza
Soni's Restaurant
Augustine's Pizza

**Medure's was one of my favorite restaurants that was located in New Castle. My family and the Medure's go back a very long time and they had the best butterflied smelts I have ever eaten.

I loved Medure's too. I grew up on Augustine's pizza. Basically red sauce and parmesan cheese but it's great. Served every friday in the NeCaHi cafeteria too. Remember Trogios? It's a medical center or something like that now.

Medure's was one of Jo Jo Pecora favorites. He loved their Rack of Lamb. That was after a couple a dozen Smelts :)

My family was pretty close to the Medure's and we used to have our Holy Communion parties there, graduation parties and rehearsal dinners. Faraone Brothers Pizza has good Sicilian aka Brier Hill Pizza as well. Personally, I like Mangino's much better than Augustine's.

FOH, did you ever get to Patsy's bar in Campbell for the butterflied smelts?

Go there on a Friday for a bowl of pasta fagoli, fish fra diavolo and a basket of butterflied smelts...that's my go to meal every time I eat there.
