The Sicilians that run the Gambinos, Cali, Gambino, Cefalu, Maninno etc have all lived in the US most of there lives, they're americanized. Cali was born here, Gambino bros came over in the 60's.

You are correct. It´s not that it´s a dirty business, but it´s unmanly to make money off of women. Back in the day, no pimps were made. And if that tradition persists today, this guy Rizzi can forget about becoming made (besides him being a retired cop of course) unless he denounces it.Lupara wrote:I thought that traditionally the Mafia, at least the Sicilians, didn't want to be involved in prostitution because they considered it a dirty business below their standards. Am I correct or is this just a myth?
Involvement in porn however (producing/distributing), seems to be a different matter for some unknown reason. We know a few made guys were into that.
There you have it, never printed before.

No one ever accused mafioso of not being hypocrites.
Don't give me your f***ing Manson lamps.

Yup....keep surrounding themselves with ex-cops and other half-wits. See how that strategy works out in the end.
Might as well take out help wanted ads on Craigslist.
