He was made on July 29, 1990. This was the ceremony that George Freselone taped. The ceremony was invalided soon after because they didn't pass a list around. One of the guy's made (Nicholas "Nicky O" Oliveri) was on record with the Gambinos which caused some problems. I'm sure Freselone taping the whole thing didn't help their case.

Okay few questions from all this

Was john gambinos cherry hill crew all jersey member?did he have ny rackets as well or mostly nj? They lived and operated a business(front) from Cherry Hill. But moved there from Brooklyn. Not like they were running a shit load of rackets. They were just junk dealers.

Does philly have anything in new york? I don't believe so. They are pretty small just into small time drugs, Gambling and loan sharking.

John Gambino ran a Brooklyn based crew that included his relatives in South Jersey.

Philly's NJ crew has been involved with gambling and other activities in NYC. I don't know if that's still the case, but I assume they still have odds and ends over there at least. John Praino's membership was nullified, but he's the only full-fledged New York resident to get made into the Philly family as far as I know.

Praino lived in NY because of his family. But he was a Newark NJ guy. His rackets were not in NYC but in North Jersey. I don't believe there ever was a NYC based Philly guy that operated in NY. I would imagine the NY families wouldn't like that much if it was found out. That was back then though. Today they would even fuckin know because there are about half the guys left.

Praino and some others had some gambling interests in NYC. Freselone talks about it in his book.

Oh ok he was part of the 1990 grouop that got taped and such. For some reason thought he was a made guy before than.

Wasn't Nicky O' picked up on FBI surveillance at the Christmas party in the last ten yrs.? Could he be made?. Who knows? Then I hear he is retired. But retired guys don't show up at LCN Christmas parties....

Nicky Skins Capt was the guy who was acting for NIcky Corrozzo. Skins was part of Nickys Brooklyn crew. Not Jackie. Andy Merola was under Jackie DAmico even though he was active in NJ only.

This is what I always figured. Its hard to imagine Nicky O under Licata as they do not like each other. Personally I think Licata has a fear of NIcky O who is a pretty tough guy. Licata has got smarts and knows how to operate but he is not known as a tough guy. I get mixed answers on Nicky O these days. Most say he is retired from the life probably do to the fact that Licata is running the show. Who knows. ?
