There are some colombo soldier that made bussiness in NJ like tomasello and petrizzo but all the crews was disbanded in the 90s last capi was Randazzo killed on 1993.

Supposedly there was info in his indictment or something that said he had done internet research on the mob. I don't know if it was more specific than that or if it's even true, as I haven't seen it.

There are Colombo members that live in central NJ but are commuter gangsters so to speak into NY. Colombos don't have much going on in NJ as far as rackets go. Soldier Anthony Stropoli is a longtime Woodbridge NJ resident but his crew and rackets have always been Staten ISland and Brooklyn. Newark area based Colombo guys died out in the early 90s. NJ gambling rackets are pretty much dominated by the Genovese and Luchese families. Their reach stretches from North Jersey into South jersey and even Philly area. Philly mob has some bookmaking in Kentucky(south jersey). Gambinos had some small time shit going but the Gambinos have been pretty much died out as far as made members in NJ. They never really recovered from the Bobby Cabert/Gotti debackle. Andrew Merlo running as half assed crew and reporting to NY is a sign of this. NY had hoped to revamp their North Jersey rackets and membership with making Nicky Skins because Skins knew every one and could bring reliable people into the fold up there eventually. But that did not end well. There are some associates of the Gambino in North Jersey but none of them will every get made. Just knock around guys who collect . Its strange the state of the Gambino's in NJ because of the size of their family. But pretty much the Genovese and Luchese family dominate in NJ.

Smarten Up was Joey Riccardi who is living out west and in the Granite counter top biz. He is also trying to bust into the low budget action movie biz. He is friends with Sly Stallone's brother. When Smarten Up stopped posting and the RD was going down hill quick David or Tommy handed Smarten Up's handle over to Pic. Or maybe Joey handed it over to Pic.

Was john gambinos cherry hill crew all jersey member?did he have ny rackets as well or mostly nj?
