Re: General Chicago Outfit Info Dumping Ground
Killing Frank would likely bring too much heat. I always find it interesting when people ask why the Gottis never killed Sammy, it would have been the dumbest move in the history of OC. Guys like that who flipped just can't be touched these days.
Re: General Chicago Outfit Info Dumping Ground
Wasn't Lewis on a podcast series recently about OC influence at CBOT? Never got a chance to listen to it. Think he was friendly with the guy who did the podcast.NorthBuffalo wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 11:04 amLewis was a trader who had a great business going at one point - someone conned him out of it. It was interesting them and Boscarino brothers being so close at one point - both sets of brothers had their fathers killed by the Outfit. Both sets of brothers then continue to hang on the fringe and do business with these people. Never ceases to amaze me.Aunt+Baby wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 9:11 am The borsellino clan seem like absolute animals & clowns. Didn’t they beat some kid to death in the suburb of Lombard many years ago?
Is Joey borsellino the one with the kid who was a football player?
I recall that interview with Lewis years ago where he whined and cried about his precious lake house and various other luxuries getting taken away from him. He cried on camera about this

They were going to though, remember? Huck Carbonaro got like 80 years for it and some other stuff. Sammy got busted for drugs before they could act but they were going to do it.
My problem is I hate everybody.

Why the feds would continue to give a fuck about Gravano is beyond me. Heres a guy that stabbed them in the back by continuing a criminal career while in the Witness protection program. Bottom line that drug bust was done on purpose to protect Gravano from being whacked. Not really sure who's cock hes sucking in the feds but its fucking pathetic and a disgrace they continue to make him untouchable.

Why are we talking about Gravano on a Chicago thread?RushStreet wrote: ↑Mon May 26, 2025 6:47 am Why the feds would continue to give a fuck about Gravano is beyond me. Yeah, im not convinced they were actually going to. If they were they came to their senses and backed off.
Either way, Frank Jr. is not of that stature but it would beyond stupid to kill him. He's in the public eye enough that it would be a disaster.

The heat, the publicity, is what makes it worth doing. The law of Omertà, the vow of silence cannot be broken.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

The "mob" is what have you done for me lately everywhere. Even if your running book for someone. You can be a onSnakes wrote: ↑Sat May 24, 2025 9:38 pmChicago has always been a "what have you done for me lately" type of family. It's been strongly hinted that Lombardo was on the shelf when he was indicted and Marcello's powerbase had severely eroded by the time of his conviction. Sarno (and by extension, a lot of his guys) was probably happy to see him go away, especially after he (allegedly) had Marcello's top guy disappeared. All that said, it does appear that Frank Jr. isn't just someone who can walk into any place in the city and be treated like one of the guys, either.
point with money every week for years. That one day your bag is short. Well... you gotta make it right, immediately. I feel like these who are involved should know that, going on. If they don't know that, they are either naive or ignorant. Either way its still their fault. Telling on your friends because of that is not the solution.
Frank JR, clearly had a drug problem. Playing it off like he wanted to piss dirty to get less time is just a false narrative he likes to spin to save face. Kurt sounds like he is scared of his own shadow. And Kurt knowing all the shit that Frank JR was doing, like "getting the whole neighborhood doing coke," why does he hid a duffle bag of money in the house and the only person he tells is Frank JR? None of it adds up.
The more they talk the less believable it is imo

I don’t know why people still think anything highly of either Calabreses punk kids. They’re a couple of unhinged junkies who absolutely loved the life and happily reaped the rewards from it. Kurt sounds like a bumbling mental patient when he speaks and junior is the definition of a grifter.Tonyd621 wrote: ↑Mon May 26, 2025 9:19 amThe "mob" is what have you done for me lately everywhere. They also both still respect and hold allegiance to the outfit. People want to hear them talk about that and not their tired old tales of the cooperation, and they outright refuse to do it

Also remember a big reason why they haven't whacked Frank Junior or Gino is because Gravano and Frank Junior contributed to putting away guys that they wanted out of the families to begin with. Gotti was not well liked by many and same can be said of Calabrese Sr, and Marcello.

Kurt testified? For some reason I thought it was jr and only jr. Kurt seems like he has psychological issues .Aunt+Baby wrote: ↑Mon May 26, 2025 10:05 amI don’t know why people still think anything highly of either Calabreses punk kids.
