In that January 1963 meeting with Zerilli and Patriarca, Zerilli says he is on the Commission. He also complains that Commission business takes up so much of his time he has had to neglect the business he runs. That suggests to me that being on the Commission was still relatively new to him since he was struggling to balance his time.
That meeting about Anastasias death says that Carlo Gambino spoke at the meeting and said that Anastasia was hit for using people from other families to commit murders and also killing people who should not have been killed. I feel like I've seen countless justifications for the murder.
Side note, but the informant also says he knew Joe Notaro to be with the Gambino family before it was taken over by Carlo Gambino. Doesn't clarify if they mean leading up to Gambinos takeover or if they mean he was associated with them farther back. Notaro was made in the mid-1950s according to his own words on the DeCavalcante tapes and was a soldier in Galante's crew, but would be interesting if he had originally been a Gambino associate.
Report also mentions rumors of several priests being members in NYC and talks about priests in Sicily being members.
Talks about a Genovese making ceremony in 1957, too. Frank Cacciatore was sponsored by "Taddo DeMarco" aka "Taddo Del" (Generoso DelDuca) from Brooklyn. DelDuca took Cacciatore to meet with "Pete Delsi" (Dolce?) who is described as an old capodecina. His brother "Ralph Delsi" was a made member who owned the Crow's Nest, where Cacciatore was taken. "Delsi" asked Cacciatore about his family background and parents and asked DelDuca to vouch for him. "Delsi" then apparently took this info to "the big guys". The next Sunday, a making ceremony was held at a luncheonette most likely in Brooklyn where Cacciatore, Joey DeMarco (not believed to be related to DelDuca/"DeMarco"), and "Pepi" LNU were inducted, with all three sponsored by DelDuca. Both of the "Delsi" brothers also attended. "Pepi" owned a candy store and was closely associated with Cacciatore.
A year later, Cacciatore was given a contract to kill Joey DeMarco because DeMarco broke family policy by dealing drugs. Two proposed members were involved in the hit as well to help qualify them to be made.
It also has info from that Vario soldier who gave information we've discussed a lot on here. One thing he says is that for his own induction, they had to get the approval of Paulie Hamm because the proposed member (the informant) was from Hamm's territory (but he wasn't associated with Ham). I've never heard of anyone doing this, pretty interesting.
Says that Carmine Tramunti was a soldier in Hamm's crew and when Hamm died Tramunti become capo of that crew.
Vario's capo "the baker" (Salvatore Curiale) apparently hated for anyone to drop by his bakery to visit/meet with him and sounds very paranoid and low-key. Apparently Vario gave him a cut of all their scores, though.
Vario apparently introduced the informant to very few fellow LCN members. One of these was Johnny Angelo of the Gambino family.
Also says that Taddo DelDuca was both murdered soldier Joey DeMarco's "LCN godfather" (sponsor) and his baptismal godfather in Church, so maybe there is a relation.
Anyway, this is way off topic from the Commission but that doc is interesting.

Great stuff B. Peter Delsi is most likely Peter DeFeo. A long time Capo in Brooklyn.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

So far I haven't found any other source that gives confirmation on him actually being made but a lot of his info checks out and you can verify his associations with some of these people through articles on the Fulton site.
'Delsi' might be a reference to Dolce but could be wrong.
Yeah, after seeing Correale's territory mentioned specifically, I would bet everything that it's Taglialatella.
From what he says here, Vario deliberately avoided introducing him to other members so that may be why he isn't known by other sources. I can't remember if it's the same informant, but there was also a report that said the Lucchese family specifically discouraged its members from being introduced to members of other families.

Any idea who this Paulie Hamm is? I thought it may be in reference to Capo Anthony “Ham” Delasco but Delasco was Jersey based and this Paulie's Crew seems to be Brooklyn based and connected with Traumunti.

Oh it's Paul Correale of East Harlem and later LI.

The title of this report from the same informant was "Carmine Joseph Taglialatella". Looks like they forgot to black it out or figured nobody would make the connection: https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.htm ... 2&tab=page
