Always wanted to see how truely fat he is, read somewhere he was deadset close to 200kg?AustraliaSteve wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 8:35 pm Not Cosa Nostra, but Australian shit (obviously).
I once saw Fat Frank Barbaro’s mugshot, and have never been able to find it again. He was the son of Il Principale, of the Canberra Barbaro. He linked up with Arthur Loveday and was likely the first conduit between the Calabrians and the bikers in Australia.
So yeah. Mine would be Fat Frank Barbaro.

Apparently he was a big guy, yeah. Also known for being super rigid about ceremony and respect. He would apparently start fights over any slights to his “honour”. When Pas Barbaro was murdered, it seems like he was in some kind of dispute with Frank, his uncle. It’s murky, and there’s more than one reason why Pas Barbaro was murdered, but I’ve been told they were both trying to collect money owed to the Griffith families at the time of Pas’ murder.

Thanks for sharing! I think I saw this one way back, but I'm curious to know if any other photos exist of him.

I’d love photos of Pittsburgh members Michael Trafficante and Samuel Fashion

Not that I "own" the image, but they didn't find that image and they took it from my blog as they used the exact crop / sizing I used. It's unlikely too anyone on there would have ever heard of him if not for my article so too bad they didn't link it: https://mafia.substack.com/p/the-silino ... nos-secretJoeNGallo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 3:58 amA Reddit user has found a photo of Giuseppe Silinonte:Don_Peppino wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2023 9:14 am Some Bonanno guys are still lingering.

A second Silinonte photo from my article was found by kiduknow.

Thanks, B. It's a shame some users don't give props on where they get their photo's from. My brain somehow remembered the name, and that someone had asked for a photo of him.B. wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 8:56 amNot that I "own" the image, but they didn't find that image and they took it from my blog as they used the exact crop / sizing I used. I've only recently been going through your substack. I have just sent the Silinontes article to my Kindle. The Garofalo crew one was outstanding. All the best.
Re: What’s your holy grail Cosa Nostra photograph?
Thanks a ton, brother! I appreciate the kind words.
I don't get too bothered in most cases if people lift things or don't credit as it's inevitable -- I've certainly borrowed from other researchers countless times but it's just a simple courtesy to give credit, especially with a guy like Silinonte who is virtually unheard of. Always funny when people post something like that on Reddit as if he's just another gangster to gawk at.
