Re: Gangland January 16th 2025
dom cefulo has had a long run. he's been official boss for almost 15yrs. crazy. the fbi must follow that guy every where. he's so insulated. did penisi ever confirm dom cefulo is the official boss??? he's the only guy who I think flipped in the last 10,rs rite? maybe that bonanno guy on Staten island who said he paid 10k to get in. I mean he's been boss longer then anyone I can remember. chin was boss from 1981 till 90 then he's on house arrest till 97. 15 yrs in the big seat is a record.

Wtf are you talking about? Big Lou has been a made guy for 30-40 years and he was a captain for a long time too making major money for the Gambino’s from construction he goes all the way back to Toddo. He did a 15 year stretch and most likely has a couple of bodies on him. What does other guys flipping have to do with him?NYNighthawk wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 12:19 pm A lot of people flipped from Gravano's crew. That pic in his book with vallario - Fappiano and D'Angelo all flipped! And your'e making the guy consigliere? The Gambino's must be desperate or very stupid!
By every measure Big Lou is as solid as they come.

The guy you're talking to is literally insane. Just FYI if you're not familiar with him.johnny_scootch wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 7:05 pmWtf are you talking about? Johnny_Scoth - watch that guy you are responding to. He has been seen going and coming from the US Attorney;s Southern District Offic ein Foley Square quite a bit lately. Be careful - he's a rat!

The only surprise is we haven't heard his name in 25 years.
Was a Capo, did a bid, came home, under radar, as stated made for 40 plus years.
Earner, done time, former Capo. What else do you want?
I'll take a Vallario over a DiMatteo any day.
Still chewing on the timing. Num num num num.

In my humble opinion, this is bullshit.
Likey a ruse by the Gambino's baiting Capeci after Scott divulged the true hierarchy.
And Jerry fell for it. Hook line sinker.

It does seem like he came out of nowhere but you have to keep in mind we only get to see and hear about the tip of the iceberg what we don’t know could fill a book many many books.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 8:29 pm

Good point! Also, people often view these promotions as based on merit and not being political, whereas I believe they're often 100% political decisions.johnny_scootch wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 5:28 amIt does seem like he came out of nowhere but you have to keep in mind we only get to see and hear about the tip of the iceberg what we don’t know could fill a book many many books.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 8:29 pm

It's entirely possible that the Sicilian faction is allowing someone from the other faction have a leadership position, but only someone who is older and who will fall in line and not make any waves. A compromise of sorts, to give the other side the illusion of having any power.
I know nothing about Big Lou or who he is as a leader. I'm just pointing out that these things aren't always as they seem on the surface and there's often layers of different political games being played we don't know about.
