I have a theory, which is nothing more than a theory, that Albie has been in charge of what is left of Grand Ave, but also Elmwood Park, and has been for quite some time.

I base this on Steve Mandell, who very clearly identified himself as being with EP, who went to Vena for permission to kill someone. If Mandell was with EP you would think he would go to an EP guy for that, unless Vena was running both groups

OK. I was told that those three were responsible, and did it at a warehouse. How'd you hear about Vena being involved?

Be careful with this sort of thing, because in my opinion this goes beyond just internet rumors that these three might be vaguely connected to the Outfit somehow. I don't think the brothers have ever been arrested. But yes this story is out there.

Was it said what the reason was for the murder? Was it narcotics?

This is the special quest explorer lady - named Kathy. Fosco knew her ex-husband. She went down quite a rabbit hole on these murders years ago and now that I think about it, I wonder if she is still alive

You gotta hand it to the modern day Outfit - whoever they are - when they do these hits, its just pure vanishing and no trace. This has to send a message to the guys who are around today - they may not be torturing guys in basements anymore but they will still make you disappear completely. You rarely see that with other families - these incredible vanishing acts in modern times of high up guys like Zizzo - I think Wild Bill Cutolo is the likely only other comparison and he was eventually found.
