We will see if anything comes in the form of indictment but I can’t imagine there’s many more reliable sources out there than him that are going to talk publicly. He has worked with the fbi and has contacts on the street in some form. Whether anyone can be considered reliable on this subject is always going to be up for debate as the fbi gets things wrong and active mobsters do not know everything themselves let alone the then mix of people who will actually speak publicly, it’s all hearsay whoever the source. It is what it is and bold claims will either come to nothing or be proven true. Him exposing a potential future indictment can’t gain favour with law enforcement though I am sure. Or he’s just bullshitting for good content, all is possible

It’s true that they seemed to have failed to indict Mannino but as for the DeSantis indictment, it’s overdue, if we consider previous gangland articles but the FBI will not stop pursuing DeSantis because he is the Acting Boss.
It could be long overdue because of DeSantis’s diligence

Pennisi is the most reliable source that we have. He continues to provide information about the Lucchese family, even after his departure.
He is not a proven liar so as for now, his word is good.
He’s fallen out with the FBI so this is why he’s released this information. He doesn’t care most likely
