What would have happened if Buddy McLean survived?

Hi what would’ve happened in Boston if Buddy McLean had survived the gang war in Boston? Since Double Deal podcast said he was an informant and all.

Would Buddy McLean, Bulger and Flemmi have coexisted with each other? Or would Bulger and Flemmi have eventually leaked Buddy’s informant status to John Martorano and the rest of their criminal associates?
