After letting them out I don’t see how any judge can argue not letting other mob guys out. Doesn’t get much worse than the Gemini twins. I’m not saying any of them should be free but out of all people they decide to let this psychopaths out lol

It wasn’t up to a judge tho. Pre 1987 murders they were convicted of are considered old law killings and the US parole commission has jurisdiction over them.

This article indicates that if Amuso makes another motion for compassionate release, he could end up receiving but his lawyers will have to apply when he’s it’s evident that he’s about to die (much like Reiter’s situation during his final days)

It also seems as if being the boss led to him being denied but if there’s any judge who will release Amuso, it’s Judge Block. I can’t think of any other judge but him who would actually release him
