What fiction, the FBI indicts these people in smaller families you just think becuase they don’t indict them that crimes aren’t happening. I stopped listening a long time ago. He never talks about anything mob related. I don't know if it's financially successful, but it's boring as hell in my opinion.

I can't imagine him making good money from the podcast. Like you said it is boring. It has no point lately. Was about gambling, with a few old time stories, then about rats. Now its just him and snuff taking selfies in a pool. He looks like a jerkoff really. I know he doesn't care, but he looks desperate.

still the most entertaining boss we've ever come across. even if and IMO he's no longer a official boss. that family took him down probaly reluctantly to save there stature, integrity or whatever it is. save face. you want to be taken as seriously as those other 5 families in NYC and the other 2 in the northeast your boss cant be doing vlad tv and youtube rounds

I remember that. They also said the others had gone legit and that Stevie Mazzone was a low-level player who had nothing to do with anything anymore. Later of course we find out he's the underboss lol

Live long enough and history repeats itself with the speculation about guys being at odds. Shelved? I don't believe it for a second. Joey's retired, philly style. He's stepped away, not down. Same guys running things take the official spots. Now nobody from outside the family (or inside) is REQUIRED to deal with Joey. Let's everybody save face and the wheel keep turning. He can still get envelopes from certain connected guys but able to try out this "2nd career", so to speak. Inventive way to stay out of the can for sure. As we know with OC, the rules are bent all the time depending on the people involved.

Does it really matter if he’s shelved? These guys have done a lot of time for each other. I highly doubt any structure has existed in quite some time. I think it’s more a group of criminals who have gone semi legitimate who work with guys they have known for a while on some side hustles, more than it is the mob anymore. Do we really think people are paying a street tax? Or that there is much of a gambling operation, most of the time when snuff and Joey are at the clubhouse in Philly, they are trying to get someone to get a bet in at the casino for them, if those guys are not betting on credit with a bookie who the hell is except for real dead beats? Knowing what we know about Joey if hundred of 1000’s were up for grabs on the street, do we think he would doing a podcast, selling hats, cigars, and cheesesteaks? And if we was “put on the shelf” and nobody can associate what is the punishment for Faffy being with him the other night in the clubhouse during the YouTube live? Do we really think when Stevie is out he won’t associate with Joey?
