That video was certainly the first of its kind. The guy insisted Pennisi put it out so his people will eventually realize it was about him when it’s all said and done and the guy disappears. Somewhat amazing yet on brand for 2024.

As far as guesses Pennisi was very vague so who knows. What I got from it is this ‘Vinny’ is a good earner and was very close to his old captain who has passed away and now some of Vinny’s adversaries are running things and screwing him over. Vinny says Bo a lot so I’d guess he’s definitely from Brooklyn.

Obviously I don’t know this guys situation but it seems like he doesn’t give a shit about his reputation amongst those people anymore. He’s fed up and wants to get the fuck out of Dodge to hell with what they think of him (ie talking to Pennisi) but at the same time he doesn’t want them to think he’s a rat because it could hurt the people around him that he leaves behind.

I get why he's walking away. He's sick of the life and shares the same reasons as Pennisi expresses on his show. However, his reputation was good, unlike Pennisis who flipped. He ruins it by talking to an informant, doesn't make sense to me. Its not my life and he doesn't give a f*ck what ppl think anymore. However, it's just like someone being exemplary at their job for 29 years and 364 days. And the last day before retirement he does something to f*ck up his whole career. That's what I'm trying to wrap my head around.
