In an organization of tradition and respect for guys who've completed prison sentences, you would have to at least consider these guys having a very good street rep and opportunities to still make a living

Majority of those guys have been doing exactly what they've done their entire lives, it's just that they haven't gotten caught up in any cases recently. They haven't changed one bit and it would be a mistake for anyone to take that as 'them being quite' or mistakenly believe 'they've gotten out of the game' or even retired. Maybe a couple of them have taken a step back for health reasons because yes they are all old and odds say they can't all be healthy at that age but it's more than likely majority of them have just been living the same way they always have.Mikeymike12 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 1:13 am Notice in the Gambinos you don’t hear About much especially about guys that have been power houses . It seems like LE has a hard on for the Westside and are trying to take down key captains via gambling cases, something you will never see in NJ again. What a misuse of resources IMO as LE has committed many millions in non violent gambling arrests. However maybe it’s more about Westside gaining strength in construction/ union rackets that they can’t nail them on and gambling is only way to get them off street. NJ crews are doing very well as they don’t bust mobsters anymore unless their is actual physical violence. NJ LE has no interest in NJ union/ construction / port corruption in addition to gambling/ weed/ loan sharking / check cashing etc. Total hands off approach with everyone making money. The Bonnano Nj crew has likely expanded gambling/ loan sharking biz without a worry in the world, regular Thur night meets out in the open and same w Luchesse club in NJ , both Essex county areajohnny_scootch wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 6:39 amMajority of those guys have been doing exactly what they've done their entire lives, it's just that they haven't gotten caught up in any cases recently.
