Caruana cuntrera are still active in Toronto area. They were having a beef a few years back because they were ripped off by the commissos.

Is this when they attacked the house of Joe Cuntrera in 2017 or after? Because that was a strange one (I am sure people here have discussed it before, will check for previous posts...) to target the boss' house and get away with it....


As for Musitano, the way the story is told in Italy is: Musitano had alliances with Commisso and according to Commisso also with the Caruana Cuntrera, and had therefore dealings with Coluccio. The Coluccios were going to Buffalo often, unsure why but business related. When the Siderno fight erupts between Figliomeni vs Coluccio then this creates problems in the whole group...

The Costa murder in January could also be linked to this. Michael costa is a drug trafficker for the Coluccio - the Figliomeni want the Coluccio out so taking out Costa makes sense in this perspective... but I guess that is another story ahahah

And commisso is right in the middle because they are blood related to both figliomeni and some coluccios too. And ya joe cuntrera left the country that time. They are saying that the Wolfpack killed cosimo commisso (the nephew) but really it was on behalf of the cuntreras. I heard that when the younger cosimo got killed that the uncle went to New York to talk to people about getting revenge and assistance but supposedly they told him no because they shouldn’t have been ripping people off.

All those clans are related in someway, there are all from siderno/goiosa ionica so many are 2nd, 3rd cousins, ect through marriages. I have a friend whos mother is a comisso and hes 2nd cousins with coluccios and figliomenis too. Mind you, doesnt mean there cant be some beef between them occasionally. I know that coluccio was friendly to the rizzutos and caruana-cuntrera, but I never heard that rizzuto was related/intermarried to commissos. The rizzuto's family and friends in toronto are mainly the arcuri's, cammilleri, campoli ect

Informant says DEA never asked him to help collar drug trafficker living in Amherst mansion

A one-time informant for the Drug Enforcement Administration gave a simple reason for not providing the federal agency incriminating information against a Buffalo drug trafficker who distributed thousands of pounds of marijuana and eventually cocaine and fentanyl pills.

No one asked him for it.

"The informant said he could get whatever kind of drug he wanted in 2013 from Ronald Serio, a drug trafficker who lived in a 9,000-square-foot French Provincial mansion on 2.4 acres in Amherst, with a carriage house and tennis court. The informant said he had been inside Serio's mansion about five times and bought marijuana from him.

"I could have gotten to anybody in the Serio organization," the informant testified in retired DEA agent Joseph Bongiovanni's bribery and corruption trial. "They didn't ask me to call him or anything."

It'll be interesting to see if the drug dealers themselves were Buffalo mob members or if they were regular street dealers and just kicking up to the mob.

If we're lucky this agent or someone else flips and we find out a lot more info about what's been happening the past decade or so.

"Masecchia has been involved in the growing and distribution of significant quantities of marijuana for at least the past 20 years," Attorney's Office spokeswoman Barbara Burns wrote in a news release about the case.

Buffalo Public Schools released this statement:

"The teacher has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the legal process."

A BPS spokesperson added Masecchia was an English teacher and was employed by the district "for several years."

"I will say that this is part of a much larger and ongoing organized crime and public corruption investigation, so stay tuned," Kennedy, Jr. said.

The U.S Attorney's office held a press conference addressing the arrest and charges Thursday afternoon.

In the Bongiovanni trial we learn that the Tom Serio in the post above is Ron Serio's brother. Further the Buffalo News writes:

In June of 2013, a month before the informant was told his help was no longer needed, Bongiovanni sent another agent on a surveillance mission to look for warehouses where marijuana was being grown.

The agent found a warehouse connected to Serio within just a couple of weeks of looking, Tripi said.

The agent saw two men one day at the warehouse on Sycamore Street, not far from the DEA office. One of them had a license plate associated with Tom Serio, the brother of Ron.

The agent calls Bongiovanni and says, "Hey, this is what I'm seeing at the warehouse. Why don't you send more people out on surveillance, we'll do more surveillance on them," Tripi said.

"Bongiovanni said, 'no, that's good enough, come back.' He pulled (the other agent) off surveillance," Tripi said.

Two days after he shut down the informant, Bongiovanni wrote in a report that the DEA was waiting on GPS tracker warrants to find vehicles associated with Serio.

"No warrants were ever submitted for a prosecutor to review in the (case) he was pretending to investigate," Tripi said.

…(x) defendant stated that he kept a DEA case file in his house because it was an old case and he thought it would come up again and the defendant wanted to verify everything was on the up and up.; (xi) the defendant stated that he knew there was an ongoing investigation of IOC which is why the defendant kept the file; (xii) the defendant stated that Peter Millitello was the source in the DEA Case Number C2-13-0026, but Millitello was arrested for selling fentanyl and heroin; and (xiii) the defendant stated that he learned about a current investigation with a DOJ OIG SA asked him about the subject of the investigation during and interview earlier in the year.
