All the other stuff like Arcuri's club and any other connected restaurants were way before my time. In D'Arco's book it mentions that Sandro's on 82nd was connected to Baratta but I feel like that may have been an error and they actually meant to say Quattro Gatti. Sandros never really felt like a connected type of place and it's a much different crowd. There was an older guy in the building I grew up in who carried himself like a gangster, was always meeting guys talking on the street (and even saw him meeting guys in our laundry room before) but I have no idea who he is and only know him by first name. He could have just been a day laborer or a jerkoff for all I know. I never really saw or knew of a whole lot of mob activity up that way but I'm young enough to have missed the bulk of blatant in-the-open activity just about everywhere
Sandros is well known and very popular restaurant. Major props to Bowatt if this is his place. With all that dope $, he probably owns some uptown real estate which would put him in big time baller status and the way a smart wise guy ends his career.
Yeah, I would be very surprised that he's connected to Sandros in any way besides eating there and maybe being friendly with the staff/owners. I mean anything can happen but it just doesn't seem like that type of place to me. IIRC their location up on the UES came right around the time or shortly after D'Arco had flipped as well. I think it being mentioned in the D'Arco book as being one of Baratta's places could just be a simple error. I could be wrong though

You're very welcome. Unfortunately, I'm a little fuzzy on the block. His family historically had a liquor store over there also, and one was nearer to 2nd and one was nearer to 3rd but can't remember which.
