I get the feeling they're constantly thinking about this stuff, which is why they sound like they're conversing and not just reading off notes. So the answer could be: years.

On my end I haven't prepared for most of the episodes. The preparation is what you see on the board here... we like to think about and discuss this stuff as part of our lives so what you see on the show is a product of that. The inspiration for this was long phone calls we'd have and the show is supposed to be similar.

Thanks for the continued support. This one was recorded in August and the part 2 coming soon was recorded around that time also.
