Rockford LCN Consigliere Home For Sale

The home of former Rockford LCN consigliere Joe Zito is for sale. Zito moved in to the house around 1956 and lived there until his death in 1981. His widow Mary lived there until her death I believe, around 2010. Since the two never had children I'm unaware of who owned the home after Mary.

Cavita if you were to have gotten this house, think you would be knocking on walls for hollow spots or what? Very cool and makes you wonder what these walls saw and who they overheard - i would expect over the years, some major guys given what I've read on Rockford from you.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to search for hollow spots or something under the floor but I'm not willing to spend $200K just to chance that!

I can't believe it's only $200,000. It wasn't that long ago that I was seeing two-bedroom houses going for over $300,000 where I live. Maybe prices are finally starting to come back to reality.

It’s Rockford lol. Prices of houses have always been lower in the Rockford area. This house needs a complete rehab so I don’t see it selling for that price
